Last year, HAB Law supported over 20 different support organisations and charities thanks to the help of our community giving back pledge. This pledge, also known as our 1-1-1 method, ensures that we give back to the organisations who work with us, helping them to continue to provide the amazing services they offer year-round. The 1-1-1 method makes sure that… 💚 1% of the company’s profits are shared with client support organisations. 💚 1% of all work is pro bono for our clients. 💚 1% of all employee time is to be paid volunteer time for client support organisations. This approach helps us to best support our clients and also make a positive difference to the support organisations and the wider community. It’s the HAB way. In this article for the Community Advocate he discusses four of the many issues that arose for him when reviewing the findings: indifference; volunteering; our shifting values; and community views on purpose.
