The BoardRoom Australia team have proudly taken part in a charity drive to help others less fortunate and support our local community. For the second year, we partnered with The Station Ltd to make a difference for people who are having difficulty attaining and sustaining adequate and secure accommodation, health status, personal autonomy and dignity. This year, we were grateful to have our BoardRoom Group CEO, Hugo Walkinshaw OBE, assist the BoardRoom Sydney team with packing and delivering donations. Thank you to our dedicated team members who played a vital role in making this charity drive a success. We look forward to continuing our efforts in the years to come. #BoardRoom #BoardRoomAustralia #CharityDrive #CommunitySupport George Lygoyris | Fiona Moses | Alexander Hughes | Amanda Hui

Last year, HAB Law supported over 20 different support organisations and charities thanks to the help of our community giving back pledge. This pledge, also known as our 1-1-1 method, ensures that we give back to the organisations who work with us, helping them to continue to provide the amazing services they offer year-round. The 1-1-1 method makes sure that… 💚 1% of the company’s profits are shared with client support organisations. 💚 1% of all work is pro bono for our clients. 💚 1% of all employee time is to be paid volunteer time for client support organisations. This approach helps us to best support our clients and also make a positive difference to the support organisations and the wider community. It’s the HAB way. It's Small Charity Week, and the fact is, many of us in the UK believe our government should do more to back small charities. With the cost-of-living crisis worsening, over a quarter of us turn to these organisations for weekly support, highlighting their critical role in our communities. 🌟 NCVO's latest insights reveal disturbing trends: a significant portion of our population relies on small charities as the last resort for essential services. They're not just nice-to-have; for many, they are a necessity. 🏥💚 Everyone can contribute. Consider donating or volunteering - it's time to simplify the process and amplify our impact. These charities are at the heart of fighting loneliness and building community bonds, but they need our reinforcement to keep doing their vital work. 🤝 Want to make a difference? Connect with P4 Recruitment. We value the profound impact small charities have and strive to support their mission. Join the conversation and discuss how we can empower these local heroes. Reach out at www.p4recruitment.co.uk 📩 Let's make a tangible change! #SmallCharities #CommunitySupport #NCVO #togetherwecan

To focus on positive things, I'd like to espouse the value of charity and corporate partnerships. Wellbeing, working for a common cause and learning new skills. These are just a few of the benefits of charities and private-sector partnerships! #CharityCorporatePartnerships #ThirdSector #PrivateSector

We have chosen Ty Hafan to be our Charity this year.👏🏻 We are excited to work closely with Ty Hafan to really make a difference. 🙌🏻 Some information on this wonderful charity Ty Hafan: “Every day, thousands of families in Wales live with the unimaginable reality of knowing their child’s life will be short. Too many families face this without any care or support. They are alone, afraid and isolated. Tŷ Hafan’s ambition is that when a child’s life will be short, no family should have to live it on their own. Imagine a Wales where every child has access to the services they need, where they need them, when they need them. A Wales where families have a choice about the care and support they receive. A Wales where no family faces the death of their child isolated, afraid or alone. At Tŷ Hafan, we don’t just imagine this, we believe in it.” Please follow Tyhafan & support them! . . . #chosencharity #supportingcharity #makingadifference #fundraisingcampaign #fundraisingforacause #accountancyfirm #accountantslife #accountants

Serve 360 activities are at the core of everything we do in the NextGen Marriott Business Councils. Here is a perfect example where we gathered to cook dinner for a charity that is taking care of homeless people in Split. #MarriottNextGen #Teamwork #Serve360 #DoingGoodInEveryDirection #TheExtraMile #Hungary #SoutheastEurope

What could $339 billion do for charities? A few smart updates to outdated laws could unlock funding for critical causes like food security, housing, and the environment—without costing taxpayers a dime. Public support is strong. The next step is to push lawmakers for change. Community perceptions of charities and community groups are shifting. That will require a reset in some of our thinking to find a new North. Community Council for Australia CEO David Crosbie delves into an absolute must read for #charities and #communitygroups: The Community Compass. In this article for the Community Advocate he discusses four of the many issues that arose for him when reviewing the findings: indifference; volunteering; our shifting values; and community views on purpose. 'People are generally very supportive of our work, and happy to become more involved where possible, but if we really want more engagement and support, we’ll have to do more than appeal to values like fairness and equity that no longer resonate strongly with everyone in our communities.' #charities #communitygroups #nfps #giving #volunteering Finding a new north – reflections on the Community Compass Report: https://lnkd.in/gPaNX2F3
