While Pennsylvania doesn't have a paid family and medical leave program, research shows that statewide paid leave programs not only benefit employees, but they also give a leg up to employers in the states with existing laws. 14 states, including our neighboring states of NJ, NY, DE, and MD, have all passed paid leave legislation. My annual leave is fast approaching. I have been thinking of ways to try and alleviate my absence anxiety - I think that planning early is the key. My Landlord and Tenant Act work involves lots of deadlines, that need to be met in August. So I am going to start my hand over today, to make sure that I am around to answer questions before my leave starts ☀ ⛱ . #higgsllp #propertylitigation
