Year in Review ⛈ Severe Coverage A derecho, straight-line, damaging wind event is often the most severe weather event we see in Michiana, annually. These events have a lot of build-up as storms are tracked into the area. A record number of tornadoes in the Chicagoland area, led to expansive tornado warnings, even though tornadoes was not actually happening. It was important to be able to deliver the proper message as the threat evolved. I was on air for roughly two hours, as the storms moved across the area. https://lnkd.in/gA6fD9gs
