Secure your information from catastrophe with a strategy & continuous observation. See my posts on AI & security. Leader, mentor, author "Value Selling Business Solutions". Avid surfer, biker, reader, musician, singer.

Fascinating and entertaining discussion on gen AI creativity AND google customer data backtrack with Jon Reed and the ebullient Liz Miller (now my coffee substitute). Key concepts/ideas: Tasks vs job as target- enterprises cutting corners until mediocrity proves them wrong? How much time has to pass and what damage occurs? e.g., current threat to video game workers- will it recede if output proves mediocre? Chat bot BS vs bot companion as possible killer app for customer sevice. Good gen AI use- human idea first. Then use AI to flesh out text (useful unblock writing) OR for imaging, visual artist does sketch with AI creating image options. Is human flourishing being attacked? Coffee analogy- instant didn’t kill coffee but rather revealed the beauty of coffee. Artist conversation needs to be led by those using the tools. Need for careful parsing of authenticity as AI use escalates; e.g., 50 AI created posts by EVERYONE vs high quality writing. Google issue: Respect vs exploiting the customer. AI as the opportunity to communicate and collaborate with customer. Caution- Pantagonia privacy/customer coversations/opt in case could be tip of the iceberg.

Thanks Bob, glad you liked this one - this series has proven rewarding and getting Liz Miller to crash it for a Google 3rd party cookie victory lap and more was lovely timing...
