Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, is a beautiful metaphor for life. It teaches us that our cracks and imperfections are not something to hide but to embrace and celebrate. Just as the gold-filled cracks make the pottery more unique and valuable, our experiences, especially the painful ones, shape us and add to our beauty and strength. In life, we all go through hardships and break at times, but these moments do not diminish our worth. Instead, they create a unique pattern of resilience and growth. By embracing our brokenness and healing with grace, we can become more beautiful and whole than before. So, let us cherish our scars and imperfections, for they are a testament to our journey, our strength, and our capacity to heal and shine brightly, just like #Kintsugi. The last chapter in the book is named #Kintsugi There is also a strong element of embracing #DEI in the book. Chapter on "The Tigress" shares how equity is not just a moral imperative but also a strategic advantage. It leads to richer perspectives, greater innovation, and stronger communities.
