Hello there! Only 5 days left until the MACH 2024 exhibition, and we're really looking forward to it! Join us at NEC's hall 18, stand 311 to explore solutions across various industries. Today, we'll present our offerings tailored for the aerospace industry. In the demanding realm of aerospace, structural components must adhere to the most stringent standards. These components serve as the backbone of aircraft and spacecraft, necessitating a delicate balance of low weight and high strength. Continuous advancements in materials science drive the development of lightweight yet incredibly durable structural components. These breakthroughs are pivotal for enhancing the efficiency, performance, and safety of aerospace vehicles. The setup requirements for structural components pose significant challenges, often demanding costly and time-intensive adjustments. Addressing this need for controlled flexibility, our VERO-S Aviation solution dramatically reduces setup times by facilitating efficient unclamping of components. We look forward to discussing how our innovations can meet your aerospace industry needs at the exhibition! Reserve your spot by registering at: https://brnw.ch/21wIGrl Have a look into the solution: https://brnw.ch/21wIGrn See ya!

Senior Technical Fellow/P&W | Composites | Private Pilot | USAF Vet | Living and Loving the LaminateLife 🙂 ✈
Bringing in 2023 for a safe and smooth landing... 🙂 Been an interesting year. Started out working for Solvay (was Cytec Solvay Group and is now Syensqo) and ended up with Pratt & Whitney. My #aerospace story arc started in airframes with Boeing, moved to materials, and will finish up (likely) in engines. It's been a great journey; one constant has been #composites and the wonderful #advancedmaterials community of #LaminateLife. It was an honor to share that #composite passion in articles for CompositesWorld and Aviation Consumer magazine (thanks Larry!) this year; hopefully I'll be able to write more sometime in the future. Looking forward to a great 2024 - I hope to see many of you at airshows or conferences around the US (not sure I'll make it overseas). For sure SAMPE and CAMX - The Composites and Advanced Materials Expo if nowhere else. You are the high performance energy that LaminateLife and Li'l Blue run on - have a wonderful New Year! (Video is from my recent flight to Cullman, AL; Li'l Blue (a 1978 Grumman Tiger) is landing in a bit of a left crosswind on Runway Two Zero.) #WeArePW #advancedmanufacturing #aviation #flying #generalaviation #pilots

Hypersonic jet engines are advanced propulsion systems designed for aircraft exceeding Mach 5 speeds. They utilize ramjet and scramjet technologies, relying on high-speed air compression instead of traditional compressors. These engines require efficient thermal management and use specialized materials to withstand extreme temperatures and aerodynamic stresses. Hypersonic engines are crucial for developing fast military weapons, reusable space launch vehicles, and potentially high-speed commercial aircraft, driving future aerospace innovations.
