🌟 Celebrating Excellence in Science! 🌟 We are thrilled to announce that two of our outstanding young scientists, Lisa Fohler and Fernando De Mathia, have been recognized for their exceptional contributions at the recent ESIB conference! 🏆 Lisa secured First Place in the Sustainability Science Flash Session category. Lisa presented her cutting-edge work on developing an optimized and scalable process to produce highly active PET-degrading enzymes, PHL7 and PHL7mut3, using E. coli. Her research offers a transformative solution for enzymatic recycling of PET plastic waste, enabling sustainable and cost-effective circular economy approaches without the need for costly purification steps. 🏆 Fernando won the award for Best Poster in the Biopharmaceutical category, presenting the poster "Purification and characterization of recombinant neuraminidase for non-seasonal vaccine against Influenza virus." We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the organizers of ESIB, acib GmbH, and the generous sponsors, Sandoz and the Computational and Structural Biotechnology Journal, for their support and recognition of our talented scientists. Congratulations to Lisa and Fernando for their well-deserved achievements! #ScienceExcellence #Sustainability #BioPharmaceuticals #ProudMoment #ESIB #acib #Sandoz #CSBJ #YoungScientists #Innovation
