Staying fit is rewarding! In the pursuit of excellence in work, a lot of us ignore our health. Infact, Indian workforce in healthy BMI range is less than 50% according to a report by Truworth wellness. Though BMI is just a number in the overall wellness spectrum, it sure paints an alamrming picture. To do amazing work, you need to take care of yourself - it is as simple as that. For me personally, going for a run or hitting the gym or even playing a sport has always been part of my routine and I would not change it for anything. It helped me become better both personally and professionally. Let us all take little steps to make Indian workforce little more healthy and fit. I fired one client today who was among the top-ranking wellness centres in India, here's why: 1) Demeaning Tone: Throughout there was a consistent pattern of communication with team members that was demeaning in nature. 2) Ever-Changing Strategies: Despite providing approvals on numerous occasions, there were frequent changes in direction, leading to wasted time and resources as we had to pivot strategies to accommodate sudden shifts in priorities. 3) Boundary Disregard: There was a persistent habit of contacting our team outside of working hours, disrupting personal time and work-life balance. 4) Minimal Professionalism Expectation: Despite engaging a creative team, there was an expectation for work to be completed with minimal effort, resulting in substandard outcomes that did not reflect positively on the quality of our work. 5) Delays and Unrealistic Expectations: Multiple delays in providing necessary branding elements coupled with unrealistic expectations for quick turnarounds created unnecessary stress and pressure on our team. While it's always regrettable to end a client relationship, it's essential to prioritize a healthy and respectful working environment for our team. Did I make the right decision? Share your thoughts?

They get disheartened and at times even discontinue their fitness routine, but considering how everybody’s body is different, the results might not be the desired ones, when we sit back and reflect on the time when they had begun and the change that has come over the period is also worth celebrating and an important milestone. So, to keep my fit center buddies motivated and to never quit their fitness journey, we together help them celebrate every minor change and milestone they achieve and this comes from making them understand that the desired results are not the only focus, but the journey of growth, transformation, change and the spirit of never giving up is what matters the most. Reflecting on how far one has come because we all are unique is what gives us the will to not give up and at my center in Mumbai, I see to it that all my clients become each other’s support system like a community, so that no one feels alone in this journey.
