🚧 ASPHALT PRO enables nearly seamless installation! 🚧 With ASPHALT PRO by BOMAG, site management can significantly simplify planning for road construction projects and monitor the ongoing installation process in real-time. 📊 The software provides real-time updates on how much material has been installed, how much more is needed, and when the next load will arrive. Every deviation or change is instantly documented and communicated to the site manager and the mixing plant. 🚛 ASPHALT PRO sets the pace for mix production and calculates the optimal timing for trucks, based on the fastest route from the mixing plant to the construction site. Delays and disruptions are documented, providing a solid basis for optimizations and adjustments. #ConstructionManagement #RoadConstruction #RealTimeMonitoring #BOMAG #ASPHALTPRO #EfficientBuilding #InnovationInConstruction"

One of the things I love most about asphalt... There are so many different options for repair and maintenance depending on the asset strategy. One of the things I dislike the most about asphalt... contractors have so many different options to repair and maintain asphalt. Most project managers never take any classes. Most only know what they've been taught by peers at their company. When I worked for my first paving company I honestly thought that any alligatoring absolutely 100% had to be removed and replaced full depth. This is what I was taught as "the right way." Petromat was the only other option and that 1.5" of asphalt over petromat was plenty. Almost a decade and a half later now and my beliefs are totally different. Most of this change has come from working around the country for the last 8 years with different asset types, different vehicle traffic, different soil compositions, with different contractors and different equipment. There really is a right way and a wrong way. It mostly depends on 3 things: - Asset strategy - Including asset type, business plan and length of ownership. - Existing conditions - How thick the asphalt is, substrate conditions, elevations. - Budget - How much can you spend and how long do you expect that work to last you? One thing I really love about this work we do... Every job is different. Every property is it's own puzzle. #asphalt #capexperts #differenteveryday #options

Earmarking another successful project! The Tractor Supply project in Kelso, WA presented several unique challenges ― to address these AGI proposed the use of Vibro Stone Columns. This ground improvement method selected for its effectiveness and cost-efficiency compared to other available solutions helped to overcome the following concerns: ❌ Compressible soft organic soil ❌ Liquefaction hotspot ❌ Undocumented fill, creating constructability concerns The Vibro Stone Columns technology was strategically implemented to target densifiable soils, effectively alleviating settlement issues and enhancing the stability of the site. This approach helped to: ✔️ Mitigate liquefaction settlement risks ✔️ Limit static settlement concerns ✔️ Reduce the potential for differential settlement AGI, serving as the Design-Build Contractor, successfully managed the project in collaboration with the construction team. Tractor Supply Company Supply, as the project owner, Stout as the General Contractor, and Krazan & Associates, Inc. as the Geotechnical Engineer, all played crucial roles in the project's successful completion. The Tractor Supply project serves as an example of effective ground improvement and collaborative teamwork, showcasing how innovative solutions can overcome complex geotechnical challenges. That’s because it’s complex and highly specialized. And not everyone who recognizes the marketplace opportunities of asphalt and paving is necessarily already an expert in what it takes to build an efficient asphalt production facility. Getting this massive undertaking right requires vast experience and deep expertise. Keep reading here: https://hubs.li/Q02zK1Gf0

⚠ The composition of asphalt can vary depending on the application. If your bid doesn’t specify the grade, your contractor might use whatever mix is available at the plant that day, potentially compromising the quality of the repair. Listen in as our founder C.B. Kuzlik shares tips on how to avoid this costly mistake. #TuesdayTips #ThoughtLeadership #Partnership #Asphalt #MaterialSpecification #FacilityManagers #PropertyManagers #ParkingLots #PavementMaintenance #QualityControl
