Mapping Creativity and Design within the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem -2019- Resumen: Are entrepreneurship ecosystems examples of systemic design? And, in reality, how creative is the entrepreneurial process? It has been argued that creativity is not generated in the minds of people, but in the dynamic relations between the thoughts and the sociocultural context of those people (Csikszentmihalyi, 1996, 1998; Amabile, Hennessey, Grossman & Barbara, 1986; Amabile & Pillemer, 2012). In this paper, we are taking the design approach, following an intuition about crossing points between creativity, design and entrepreneurship, our intention is to understand if the entrepreneurial ecosystems are designed or if it behaves similar to a design process in its different phases development process, and how creativity is expressed during that process.

3 years before and 3 years following today The European election has just taken place, and already the next election takes place: the EMVA Board of Directors will be elected the day after tomorrow at the general assembly in Gdansk, Poland. Dr. Christoph Garbe, the member of the Board of Directors since 2021, summarizes the achievements during his tenure: "I am committed to new technologies and young companies to bring forward our industry in different verticals. The EMVA now gives startups better opportunities to present themselves to a wider audience of established companies. At the Business Conference this year, for example, there is a dedicated slot for startups to present themselves. The EMVA convention booth, such as at the #Logimat, has also been opened to members, so that young member companies can also exhibit to an international audience at a low cost. Overall, the focus is now more on startups and young companies. However, the progress is not yet sufficient. I will continue to work on bringing startups together with established companies and offering them a platform in the EMVA. It is also important that new technologies are not only presented through research (as part of the European Machine Vision Forum), but explicitly with startup slots, etc.” He has applied to be elected for a second term at the EMVA general assembly.  Don't miss news about the choice that will impact the European image processing industry. How can we nurture more innovative ideas? A question discussed last friday at Techarenan during the session "The Role of Universities in the Innovation Ecosystem." Firstly, it is clear that for continued innovation, attracting and retaining top talent is crucial. We need to take care of the talent that want to stay and work in Sweden. Secondly, there is a need to keep funding ventures and also continuing to fund entrepreneurial activities that ignite inspiration and ideas. Ideas that can revolutionize and change the status quo, and creating a better world. Thirdly, as the Minister for Education, Mats Persson, put it, "We need to aim higher.". By funding these activities we inspire individuals to realize their visionary ideas. Something that the Vice-chancellor of Uppsala University Anders Hagfeldt highlighted as essential. He underlined that storytelling is not just a tool, but also a catalyst for innovation through inspiration. Drivhuset Uppsala has a long history of working with inspiration, developing ideas, and creating a community that is promoting creativity and entrepreneurship.
