Deeptech SuperAngel VC (Europe pre-seed/seed) | Building Europe's leading Deeptech VC + Community & Sharing live my journey & lessons | Computer Scientist
What's an unusual task you've done when you were still "hacking it together"? 🥸 This is me yesterday improvising bartending and setup man for our event. I think an Italian real estate mogul once said an investor surprised him when he had to help out with the building works, so he pretended to be his "cousin". Everyone probably has silly stories like these. Isn't it why it's so much fun to build a biz from scratch? HAPPY FRIDAY FELLOW EMERGING VCs and FOUNDERS. 🏋🏻♂️ PS: The event was an amazing fireside chat full of lessons learned and great networking between Deeptech founders and investors. Next week I'll publish the key ones, so do follow and keep an eye out 👀 #deeptech #familyoffices #limitedpartners #venturecapital #angelinvesting - - - I'm a soloVC building my fund & community in public. 📢 On a mission to build a new kind of tech-driven VC firm at the intersection of Venture, Science and Community 👩🔬 👨💻 👫 💹 ❤️ & Follow+ to keep up with the journey 🛣️

Co-founder at uForce – a marketing agency dedicated to helping expanding startups and industry leaders
Tadaaaaaaaaaam!!! Three months ago I became a mentor in Ultra VC accelerator ULTRA.VC, I really enjoyed the process and the approach of the organizers. And I liked even MORE the teams I had the honor to help=) Yung Sidekick is a note-taking app with a focus on therapists. The Michael Reider's team really pulled it in and sold $3,000 more in the first week out of beta and there's a very positive economy there. Joy, delight, applause - well done guys!!! Stry is an app for asynchronous workouts. Sasha Alexander Pushin increased MRR by 41% during the accelerator, confirmed 50% retention for 6 months and discovered 2 promissing UA channels. Now he is closing a $200k Angel round ($105k closed) to put them on track and then raise Seed. Both teams are rasing and I very super highly recommend talking to them - that's my honest recommendation to anyone looking at early stage projects in international markets. Write here/personal messages/me on telegram at @dendiboyd or guys @darkkraider, @alpush - we will help with all questions.

The early-stage founder life is such a rollercoaster. 🎢 Racing towards product-market fit, assembling a dream team from scratch, fine-tuning our message - it's exciting and exhausting all at once. But here's what’s worked for me to survive this madness: surrounding yourself with kindred spirits who get it. 💡 Techstars has been a true game-changer for us with incredible mentors and network (not to mention that sweet first investor check 😉). But you know what really keeps me going? My fellow founders. This snapshot? It's from our recent Denver hangout with David Cohen. For a hot moment, we hit pause on the PMF chase, investor pitches, and client puzzles. Instead, we just kicked back and swapped war stories. Folks, it felt good to be with people who really get it. These moments of connection are pure gold in the startup hustle. I'm incredibly grateful for this tribe of innovators and dreamers. 🚀 Techstars Workforce Development Accelerator #StartupLife #FounderJourney #Techstars #Gratitude #DeltaGen

You know it's going to be a stellar year when you kick things off with Cash Allred during Utah Tech Week! Join the Silicon Slopes SaaS Chapter and Antler on Tuesday, January 23rd from 11:30 - 1:30 for networking, lunch, and learning. During the event, Cash will pull back the curtain on why startups often move too slowly, what is going wrong, and why investors walk, including: - The many nuanced things you need to know about cofounders on day zero - How to vet, split equity, keep on the same page, etc - The ways you break your cap table before raising money, and how to avoid that - How to get talent, advisors, employees, etc without making a mess - How to show real traction months faster without $$$, and how that momentum is key to a pre-seed or seed round - Talk about the real reasons why pre-seed and seed-stage VCs are telling you no when they say "come back with more traction" If you already follow Cash, you know you can't miss this event. If not, I hight suggest you connect with him. You will be glad you did! Use the link in the comments to get registered!

The coolest lawyer you’ve ever met | Corporate, VC and M&A lawyer for SaaS founders | I help SaaS founders draft, negotiate, and close deals.
For early stage start up founders, I’ve seen this challenge with cofounders time and time again. In this video I suggest a simple solution to this dynamic that can help address the challenge that often arises between cofounders.

Bootstrapping => Angels round Initially, we were bootstrapping Assisterr since the end of 2022 as I thought it would be too complicated to handle small checks from angels while we were not ready for VC money at that time. Only last month I start accepting checks from amazing angels all around the world: Miami, Denver, London, New York, SF, Barcelona (in progress😉) and I found that angel’s money is much more than just $$$. Angels are not VCs, they invest personal & limited resources in founders they believe in and like. It’s a kind of sympathy you have for people you know little but want them to succeed. Yesterday, I met Eathan - Head of DevRel at Particle Network and one of our earliest supporters who was providing feedback on a product, then was our early user and finally joined us as an angel after the ETH Denver⚡️ Long story short: don’t try to skip any steps of your founder's journey as you might miss amazing people as well and end up with just pragmatic VC money.

Founder of Angel Squad | I teach professionals how to invest in startups with help from seasoned VC investors | Investor & Advisor
We started Angel Squad with a basic thesis 3 years ago: that great angel investors can look like anyone and come from anywhere. The tech ecosystem only benefits when builders from all walks of life can participate. We didn’t want to create a community for just tech angels, but also wanted to invite athletes, pilots, doctors, lawyers, nurses—successful builders from all domains to learn how to angel invest and support founders together. I didn’t expect that so many people would resonate with this mission. But it’s happened. 🎉 TWO THOUSAND ANGEL SQUAD MEMBERS 🎉 Great humans from all walks of life, like: Vijen Patel (Emerging Fund Manager) Alexa Murray (Sr. Product Manager; incoming Stanford GSB class for her MBA) Andy Louis-Charles (CSO at Custom Ink, angel investor in 500+ companies) Randi F. Plevy (Lawyer) Sam Bantick (Qantas Airlines Pilot) The best part? Despite our scale, we have exactly ZERO a-holes in our global community (40+ countries). To celebrate, we’re doing a special giveaway. $2000 worth of Hustle Fund’s hippo-unicorn mascot…Dunky. Want one of these fuzzy friends? Comment below for a chance to win a free Dunky! #dunkyinthewild
