Migration to Magento Open Source is the best option for Adobe commerce merchants. Magento Open Source has better community support, better performance, and fewer bugs, as all the useless modules and features have been removed. However, especially after the Adobe Cloud scam case, it is not an option for reputable companies.
Are you paying tens of thousands for software you don’t even need? This client was and we fixed it with one simple move. They came to us running on Adobe Commerce, shelling out huge sums in license fees annually. When we asked why, nobody in the organisation could explain it. They just assumed they needed it because they were an enterprise-level business. But when we dug deeper, it turned out they didn’t actually need the enterprise features. So, we proposed a 'downgrade' to Magento Open Source. The result? Massive savings in license fees, simpler maintenance with our automations, and way less reliance on a single party. Same Magento, fewer headaches, and a lot more flexibility. Sometimes, keeping it simple is the best move. Would you 'downgrade' if it meant a more streamlined business?

How I implement Observers in Adobe Commerce (Magento) Observers in Magento 2 are still a powerful mechanism when it comes to extending core Magento 2 functionality. I can create an observer class, and register it based on the business need in one of the Magento 2 areas and implement the required changes. With the help of the service classes, I can even create unit tests that each responsible for covering the functionality as per the class implemented. https://lnkd.in/eWReQ3jV #magento #magento2 #adobecommerce #magemastery
