The RIGHT PEOPLE doing the RIGHT THINGS, all moving in the RIGHT DIRECTION 👉 Get your FREE Thriving Culture Guide | ☎️ (319) 929-2604 | FOLLOWER✝, Husband, Dad, Grandpa
Execution doesn’t happen just because you’ve made a plan. Understanding this is vital to your company’s success. Consider how much time is spent across your business talking about getting things done versus how much time is spent working to *ensure the work is done effectively. Effective execution involves 3 essential disciplines: 1. Connecting individual’s work directly to your team and company goals. 2. Ensure that every employee knows what’s expected of them, what the priorities are, and how they’re doing. 3. Instill a transparent and repeatable system to track and measure the progress of individual goals. If you’re a founder or business owner that’s experienced the frustration of missed expectations; If you’ve laid out a great strategy for your business but you’re concerned about getting it done; Or if you’re lacking confidence that 2024 won’t look much different than 2023, 2022, and so on… Then maybe it’s time to analyze how you get things done inside your company. Before you pour money into “building culture” or invest in communication training, or let someone convince you that an assessment will provide the insights to your concerns, Take a look at how your teams actually execute. Are the right conversations happening between managers and employees across every layer of your company? Are you asking yourself, “What are the right conversations?” This is where I can help you. It can feel like you’re walking blindly as a founder. I’ll walk alongside you and shine a light to help you see the path. #ceo #founder #strategicleadership

Strategy is more than a buzzword... Effective strategies are not just made on paper but are carefully thought through and drafted. Alex Brueckmann in his post lays down 6 key elements and all these elements are essential to drive strategy effectively. These 6 Elements include: 1. Alignment 2. Communication 3. Clarity 4. Strategic Thinking 5. Accountability 6. Execution Working on each of these elements is crucial and essential to a well executed strategy. What according to you are effective elements of strategy? #strategy #execution

Is your strategy just a buzzword, or does it actually drive your team’s performance? A clear and focused strategy gives your team direction and helps them achieve real results. Without it, they might be wasting time and resources. If your team is missing targets, it’s time to reassess. Instead of just comforting them, take a hard look at your strategy. Is it truly guiding them, or is it causing confusion? Here’s how a strong strategy can help your team succeed: 1. Align Your Team A good strategy ensures everyone is on the same page. When your team understands the goals, they can work together more effectively, avoiding chaos and confusion. 2. Keep It Simple Strategy should be straightforward. If your team can’t explain your strategy in a few sentences, it might be too complicated. Simplifying your strategy helps everyone make better decisions with confidence. 3. Encourage Accountability Your team needs to know what they’re responsible for. A strong strategy helps create a sense of ownership, so everyone feels accountable for their part in reaching the larger goals. 4. Communicate the Purpose It’s not enough to tell your team what to do; they need to understand why it matters. Regularly share how their work contributes to the bigger picture. When they see their impact, they’ll feel more engaged! 5. Promote Strategic Thinking Strategic thinking shouldn’t be limited to the top executives. Encourage everyone on your team to ask questions and think creatively. When everyone contributes ideas, it leads to better solutions. 6. Empower Your Team A strategy is only effective if your team can act on it. Provide them with the tools and resources they need to succeed. As a leader, your job is to remove obstacles and support them. The more empowered they feel, the better they’ll perform. What challenges have you encountered? I help Business Owners boost their number of Quality Leads & Closes with Specialized Digital Marketing Strategies | Founder of Revive Crafters
6 Things You Think You Want in Your Business, But They Might Not Be What You Need 1️⃣ 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀: Meetings can seem productive, but too many can stifle creativity and waste valuable time. • Action Step: Limit meetings to essential discussions only. Set clear agendas and use tools like shared documents for updates instead. 2️⃣ 𝗕𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀: A larger team doesn't always equate to better results. Sometimes, a smaller, more agile team can achieve more with less bureaucracy and faster decision-making. • Action Step: Assess your team’s roles and consider cross-functional training to enhance efficiency without adding headcount. 3️⃣ 𝗙𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀: High-tech tools can be impressive, but they don't guarantee success. Often, simple and reliable solutions can be more effective and easier to implement. • Action Step: Evaluate your current tools. Focus on adopting user-friendly solutions that directly meet your team’s needs instead of chasing the latest technology. 4️⃣ 𝗥𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵: While ambitious, rapid growth can lead to burnout and missed opportunities to refine processes. • Action Step: Prioritize sustainable growth strategies. Set realistic goals and focus on optimizing processes before scaling further. 5️⃣ 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀: It's tempting to aim for quantity, but quality relationships with customers can lead to better long-term business success and loyalty. • Action Step: Shift your focus to building deeper relationships with existing customers. Implement feedback loops to improve products and services based on customer needs. 6️⃣ 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴: Juggling multiple tasks might feel productive, but it often decreases focus and quality. • Action Step: Prioritize your daily tasks using a system like the Eisenhower Matrix, and dedicate uninterrupted blocks of time to focus on each task fully. Reevaluate these common business desires to align them with what truly drives success and growth. What do you think? #leadership #marketing #management

Company culture consultant | I help you to build engaged and synergistic teams through open & honest conversations based on Team-specific data analysis 📊 & Nomadic wisdom of leadership 🛡️🔥
Recently, I attended a webinar hosted by a company offering workshops to companies looking to increase motivation, performance, and productivity. It was a great opportunity to reflect on various strategies and solutions companies invest in. I want to say, that my reflections in this post go beyond just this particular session—it's a glimpse into the dynamics I've witnessed in my corporate roles, as well. Many times, these workshops and programs come in with one framework, one solution, one way of doing things. On paper and in presentations, it all sounds fantastic. Yet, in practice, it often falls short of expectations. It becomes another box to tick for leaders and HR, quickly forgotten as the day-to-day business takes over. This is what I see as the first level of delivery. But what about the second level? The solutions that presenters themselves have implemented and found success with in their own daily practices. This approach can be truly transformative—but with a caveat. It works best when the audience shares similar communication preferences and problem-solving styles to the presenter. Wonder with me… Are the workshops and solutions you invest in tailored to the diverse personalities and preferences within your teams? Are you truly addressing the individual needs that drive long-lasting change? I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences on this topic! #WorkshopReflection #TeamDynamics #TailoredSolutions #EmployeeEngagement #WorkplaceCulture #ProductivityBoost #LeadershipInsights #CommunicationStyles #ProblemSolving #HRStrategies #TeamDevelopment #LinkedInDiscussion

𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬? 𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐮𝐩 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐱 Your customer base is growing 10x, you are onboarding new people one at a time, growth rates peak, everyone is engaged, and things are going fantastically. But you realize decision-making slows down, conflicts emerge, meetings grow longer and less focused, and productivity drops. Your managers are dealing more with people’s challenges than with business opportunities. You have entered the scaleup paradox - successful on the outside, but experiencing friction and organizational inflammation on the inside. What is happening? The complexity of your organization doesn’t grow linearly but exponentially! A five-person organization has 10 possible pairs for one-on-one conversations. By the time you have 30 people, there are 435 possible two-person communication pairings, and when you reach 100 people, it's a staggering 4,950 possible pairings. This demonstrates mathematically the organizational challenges scaleups face and why communication, coordination, and decision-making become problematic. So what can you do? While there are clear metrics to measure the success of an organization based on revenues, profits, or customer-related KPIs, measuring its organizational capacities is more difficult. Leadership is recommended to start with the following steps: 1. Acknowledge: Business results are a poor indicator of the health of your organization. 2. Inquire: Start measuring the health of your organization by the quality of its interactions. 3. Improve: Conversations are the foundation of your company and are ultimately decisive in determining how successful and resilient your organization will be. Are you ready to solve the scaleup paradox and truly thrive? Start today by assessing your organizational health. Your future success depends on it. #ModernLeadership #Scalup #HighPerformance

🚀 Strategizing for Success - Scaling Your Business with Precision & Purpose In our ever-evolving business landscape, SME owners face the dual challenge and opportunity of scaling with intention, but it's not just about growth; it's about enhancing joy and satisfaction in your business journey. ✨ Strategic Planning is Your Compass ✨ Kevin Brent sheds light on this in ‘The Entrepreneurial ScaleUp System,’ emphasizing the power of strategic alignment with your vision. It’s about leveraging your unique position and competencies for a competitive edge, making choices that propel you toward your vision while being agile enough to navigate the unexpected.
