If you are using the latest Compose Multiplatform, especially 1.7.0-beta02 you may encounter this addtional white space issue on some devices (like iPhone 13 mini). Fixed in 1.7.0-rc01. And here we go: Apple Vision Pro starts pre-orders on January 19th and ships to customers on February 2nd! Some details: The box will include the Solo Knit Band and Dual Loop Band. By adding both, Apple's giving users the choice of how they want the Apple Vision Pro to fasten to their head. Smaller items in the box include a Light Seal and two Light Seal Cushions, to minimize external light from leaking in and spoiling the effect for users. The box will also contain an Apple Vision Pro Cover for the front, an Apple Polishing Cloth, a battery, USB-C Charge Cable, and a USB-C Power Adapter. Apple will be making the Apple Vision Pro available only in the United States at launch, with a view to bringing it to more countries later in the year. Lenses cost $99 for "readers" and $149 for prescription Zeiss Optical inserts. Pricing for the Apple Vision Pro has been known for quite some time, and remains at $3,499, before adding accessories. When you think the Apple Vision Pro is expensive… The Apple PowerBook 170 was released in 1991 and featured a whopping 25 MHz processor, 4 MB of RAM and a 40 MB hard drive. The price at release however? $4500. That’s roughly $10k today… It does put the pricing of the Vision Pro into perspective. Do you believe it’s worth it? P.S. After some rigorous testing, I can confirm that the Sync Your Mac functionalities are not compatible with the Powerbook 170 😉
Rumors about the M3 Apple MacBooks, which could launch this year, are already starting to circulate. If they do hit the market, I’d like to see Apple sharing advice for users on how to make these devices last longer. At Back Market, We tested hundreds of MacBooks. Yet, time and time again I see the same issues which can often be prevented: 1️⃣ Poor battery health - keep your charge levels between 20-80% and avoid leaving MacBooks plugged in to help extend the battery life 2️⃣ Damage from overheating - limit using devices on soft surfaces, such as duvets, which can block fans 3️⃣ Not updating software - macOS updates are key to MacBooks performing better for longer #MacBook #Refurbished
