We welcome the reference to private and occupational pensions in EC President U. von der Leyden’s mission letter to Commissioner-designate M.L. Albuquerque. Growing pension assets in the EU is critical to ensure financial security in #retirement for EU citizens (and avoid civil disorder further down the line). This is what prompted EFAMA to initiate and launch the European Retirement Week with like-minded organisations 4 years ago. Other long-term saving solutions must be promoted and #tax incentivised as well.
