Bosch generated sales of 91.6 billion euros, an increase of 3.8 percent in the past business year. Earnings from operations before interest and taxes (EBIT) amounted to 4.8 billion euros (2022: 3.8 billion euros), the company announced today. At 5.3 percent, the EBIT margin from operations was 1 percentage point higher than the previous year. Bosch Limited has registered a 14.1% profit before tax in Q1 FY 2024-25, with a total revenue from operations of INR 4,317 crores (481 million euros), an increase of 3.8% over the same quarter of the previous year. This increase in revenue in Q1 can be attributed to a higher demand in the overall automotive market, mainly in the passenger cars segment. The Power Solutions business, which constitutes 72% of the overall automotive product sales, witnessed a growth of 2.3% over the same quarter of the previous financial year. The Mobility Aftermarket business grew by 8.1 percent compared to the same quarter last year on account of strong performance in our core product categories. The Beyond Mobility business recorded a 5.8% increase in net sales over the same quarter of the previous financial year, driven by continuous growth in the Consumer Goods Product segment and Building Technologies segment. Few of my takeaways from Q1 FY25 of Bosch Limited . . Bosch India appears cautiously optimistic about its business prospects in the near term. While Q1 FY '24/'25 saw modest growth of 3.8% in revenue, management expects the full year to maintain growth momentum similar to FY '24. The company is navigating a transitional period marked by technological shifts in the automotive sector, particularly the move from conventional to common rail systems and increasing electrification. Hello everyone! Today, I want to share some news about Bosch, a well-known auto components maker. In the third quarter of 2024, the company reported a 12% drop in its net profit, which came down to Rs 458 crore, compared to Rs 518 crore during the same period last year. But there’s some good news too – Bosch’s revenue from operations increased, reaching Rs 4,466 crore, up from Rs 4,205 crore last year. The company has been focusing on developing advanced automotive components and customer-centric solutions, and it's clearly paying off. The rise in service income from major OEMs shows that these companies continue to trust Bosch’s expertise. Additionally, Bosch is realigning its global Building Technologies division. They’ve decided to transfer the Video, Access and Intrusion, and Communication systems business to Keenfinity India, a subsidiary of Bosch Security Systems BV from the Netherlands. This move is valued at no less than Rs 595 crore. Lastly, Bosch’s shares ended up slightly at Rs 29,753 on the BSE. So, while there’s a decline in profit, Bosch is still moving forward with its growth strategy, adapting to market needs, and focusing on providing cutting-edge solutions to its clients. Bosch Limited Drives Profits: Q4 FY24 Results Show Impressive Growth!🚀 Bosch Limited, the auto components maker, reported impressive stunning results for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2024. The company's net profit surged 42% year-on-year to Rs 564 crore, compared to Rs 399 crore in the same period last year. The strong performance was driven by increased demand for passenger cars and consumer goods products. Bosch's revenue from operations grew by 4.2% YoY to Rs 4,459 crore in Q4FY24, up from Rs 4,199 crore in the year-ago quarter. For the full financial year, Bosch's net profit witnessed a nearly 75% jump to Rs 2,490 crore, while revenue rose to Rs 17,449 crore. The company's board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 170 per share for the year. Despite industry challenges, Bosch Managing Director Guruprasad Mudlapur attributed the company's strong performance to increased demand for passenger cars and consumer goods. Bosch Limited concluded FY 2023-24 on a strong note with a total revenue from operations of INR 16,727 crores (1,863 million euros) – an increase of 12% compared to the previous fiscal year. This uptick can be attributed to an increased demand in the passenger cars and consumer goods segment. The Profit After Tax (including exceptional items) stood at INR 2,491 crores (277 million euros) which is 14.9% of total revenue from operations.
