The healthcare business unit provides me the opportunity to contribute to the future of healthcare technology. It's also really fulfilling to work on projects that help people. One current topic that I find very exciting is the internationalization of our customers and workforce. Thanks to our affiliation with Bosch, we have the opportunity to expand our international customer base and transform our engineering team to an international one.

The further interconnectivity, personalization and digitalization of healthcare remains an exciting field that I enjoy working on. But the transformation from sickcare to healthcare is particularly exciting. A lot can still be improved here, for example to better prevent illnesses with the help of artificial intelligence and not just help in the event of illness.

2024 was a challenging year. There was light and shadow, not just in the world around us but within our journey as a company. This is why we are all the more grateful for the solidarity, resilience and courage within our company.
With this in mind, I would like to thank all our valued customers and business partners for their loyalty, as well as our more than 88,000 employees, whose dedicated work brings the Würth Group forward day by day.
This year has tested us, but it has also reminded us of the strength we have when we stand together. This is precisely why I have such fond memories of the special events that took place this year, because they always bring the unique Würth culture to life, such as the 75th work anniversary of Professor Reinhold Würth. Events like these remind us of what makes our Group extraordinary – they connect us, inspire us, and remain with us for a long time.
As we look ahead to 2025, we do so with a sense of cautious optimism, ready to face new opportunities and challenges together.

𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐞𝐧𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐬
Instead, let me reflect on why the people in Budapest Bosch Power Tools helped me outgrow myself over the last three years during my assignment here. Today marks an important milestone in my life, both professionally and personally, as I leave a city and people who have given me so much.
Let me reminisce about why I believe it is always the #people you meet who help you grow. I came to Budapest in September 2021, knowing only a few bits and pieces about my new region, Eastern Europe and the Middle East, not expecting at all what events would sadly unfold in this region over the next three years. These events not only changed the region but also had a significant geopolitical impact on the world. But let's not stick to these unfortunate global happenings.
👉Here are three key life learnings the people in this region have given me, shaping who I am today:
⚖️𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: No matter what happens around you, keep going and keep pushing; it can only get better. I truly learned what resilience means and how to embed it in your own reality.
💪𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧: Passion leads to success. I never met colleagues this passionate and driven to generate wins for collective success, not just for themselves. It is absolutely contagious in a positive way.
🚀𝐑𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 & 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Recognize even the little achievements. Holding people accountable for small wins fosters a great sense of team cohesion and appreciation.
And a bonus lesson:
🎉𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: Celebrate events as they come, and sometimes a little Palinka is all you need.

DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION
As a board member of the Câmara de Comércio e Industria Brasil-Alemanha de São Paulo (AHK SP), I had the honor to attend a board meeting at Bosch Brasil in Campinas last week.
Board meetings are always a great networking opportunity, but this one was particularly special as we had the pleasure of exploring the Digital Talent Academy, a place dedicated to captivating and development young talents. This project underscores the importance of investing in new generations for the future of the industry, an initiative that reminded me of our Dual Study program.
Digitalization and having a qualified new generation are essential for industry progress. Digital transformation is a key factor for competitiveness and innovation, allowing companies to quickly adapt to market changes and develop innovative solutions. Having a qualified new generation ensures the continuity of this process, training professionals capable of leading and implementing these transformations in the future.
Additionally, I participated in a tour of the DigiHub, a vibrant and collaborative space that connects projects and businesses in the areas of innovation, digitalization, and services. This environment demonstrates Bosch's commitment to innovation and technology, offering an excellent example of how we can integrate these elements into our own strategy at AHK SP to strengthen commercial relations between Brazil and Germany.
I´m immensely grateful to Bosch and our Vice-President, Gaston Diaz Perez, for the warm reception and the opportunity to be part of this significant event. This meeting at Bosch reaffirmed my commitment to developing initiatives that promote cooperation and mutual growth between our countries.
