Last August, I birthed something vulnerable: the Women in Property & Business Networking Lunch in Bristol. What started as a nervous dream has grown into something remarkable. The impact hit home when, at a December networking event, the host unexpectedly praised our lunch series to the entire room. While I knew we were making a difference for our awesome attendees, hearing recognition from an industry peer crystallized just how significant this has become. Hey folks! I’m excited to share something I’ve been working on behind the scenes. Over the past few months, I’ve spoken to so many women over 50 who are feeling weighed down by the “stuff” in their homes, not to mention the homes of aging parents. We have too much of our own stuff, many of us are holding onto stuff for our adult kids (at least I am!) and then we end up dealing with our parents stuff at a certain point. Suddenly, already overwhelmed with our own stuff we're faced with generational stuff to cope with. This stuff, this clutter, comes at a cost both mentally and financially. That’s why I’m creating a new membership community specifically designed for women over 50 who want to finally feel lighter, more organized, and more at peace in their living spaces before they get crushed (mentally, emotionally, spiritually or even physically) under the weight of all this stuff. Hey everyone, can you believe it’s already December? As I wrap up 2024, I can’t help but reflect on the incredible journey this year with Women Who Invest RE! From growing in Cleveland to taking the leap and hosting events in new cities like Toledo and Columbus, this year has been all about expansion and empowerment. Changing venues was a gamble, but the bigger space at The Green Goat proved we’re growing stronger than ever.
