I transform lives through medical infrared hyper-spectral imaging. Thermography Professor at the University of São Paulo Medical School / President of ABRATERM and PanAmerican Thermology Society / Founder of InfraREDMed
🌟 *I Explored New Horizons with Infrared Technology!* 🌟 This week, I had the privilege of learning more about infrared technology at Harvard Medical School. “Veritas” is more than Harvard’s motto; it’s a commitment to truth, and it reflects in how this technology allows us to see beyond the obvious and deeply understand our patients’ health. “The university is the cradle of wisdom.” During these intense days of learning, I realized how much more we can explore and teach my students. Each class, each discussion brought new perspectives and reinforced the power of knowledge. I learned that “Teaching is learning twice.” Sharing this knowledge with you, my students, will be an opportunity to review, consolidate, and expand even further what I have absorbed. Infrared technology is not just a method of clinical evaluation; it’s a new language we need to master to provide more accurate diagnoses and effective treatments for our patients. “The true purpose of education is to make the mind an entity that can never be satisfied.” And that’s exactly how I feel now: an insatiable hunger for knowledge. I am eager to share these new discoveries with you and how we can apply this revolutionary technology in our daily practice. “What infrared technology has done is give me a key to the world of health, not to a specific door.” I am excited to explore these new possibilities with you and together, chart new frontiers in medicine. Let’s keep learning and innovating! 🚀🔬 #MedicalInnovation #InfraredTechnology #AdvancedDiagnosis #ContinuousEducation #HarvardMedicalSchool

#ThoughtOfTheDay : from Richard Feynman; Nobel-laureate & one of the finest educator of all time : Richard Feynman. Richard Feynman's quote, “ Learn concepts, rather than facts," is most applicable and crucial for medical students too; because understanding core concepts allows them to apply knowledge in different situations, rather than just memorizing random, isolated facts. In medicine, rote memorization won't always provide the answers needed to solve practical problems. By mastering the underlying fundamental principles, students can think critically, adapt to new information, and make better clinical decisions. This approach leads to deeper learning and long-term retention, which is essential in a field as dynamic as medicine. #pathology360 #DrKishoreBanerjee

𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡! Dive into the world of effective learning with our new series, 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡! Simplifi Research is dedicated to making learning-specific public research easier to grasp, and in turn, foster effective learning and application. We will simplify complex concepts, creating an inclusive space for individuals with diverse backgrounds to learn. Our goal is to make research easy for everyone to understand, providing resources in different styles. Our first study delves into the power of distributed practice versus massed practice. The subjects include junior surgical residents tasked with learning the anastomosis of microvascular structures. The comparison research had one group practicing in a massed run and another practicing over a distributed interval. One month later, during live rat anastomosis testing, the results showed variations in skill retention and performance. Discover which group performed better through our infographic.
