Placing structures, making sure the views are correct before terraforming the new ridge. The next step will be exteneding the ridge (to the left) with the terraforming tools, and flattening out the right end of the ridge to make room to extend the lake / skating area. This would be a great point to do a walk through with the customer to ensure its correct before begining the terraforming phase. I spent about an hour jumping around to all the structures and ridge to ensure that there were clear views of the lake and castle, and making adjustments. The terrain is stored as a simple bitmap (a heightmap) and can be saved often as you go, and reloaded quickly if a mistake is made.
