🚀 Kicking of the year with exciting research! 🚀 Thrilled to share the groundbreaking work of our team member, Desmond Kabus! 🌟 His paper, "Fast creation of data-driven low-order predictive cardiac tissue excitation models from recorded activation patterns," is our New Year's present to the world of cardiac modeling. 🫀🔬 In a nutshell, the paper demonstrates that recorded movies at the tissue level can be used to swiftly generate reliable mathematical models for cardiac tissue excitation. 🫀🎥➡️📊 By leveraging exponentially weighed moving averages and polynomial regression, a rapid and efficient pipeline for creating in-silico models is unlocked. 🔄💻 Indeed, this method takes just a few minutes! 🕒⚡️ Congrats to Desmond and co-authors, Tim De Coster, Antoine A.F. De Vries, Daniël A. Pijnappels and Hans Dierckx! 👏 #HeartKOR #CardiacModeling #ResearchInnovation #DigitalTwins #DataDrivenScience Check out the paper here 🔓 : https://lnkd.in/ewRuHRw6
