Congratulations! The Molten Oxide Electrolysis (MOE) technology is one of the most promising and innovative advancements I have encountered. Its potential to revolutionise the production processes, particularly in the context of extracting metals with minimal environmental impact.
Last week, HR&A Advisors had the privilege to attend and lead dynamic conversations focused on propelling the global clean economy at the VerdeXchange (VX) VX2024 Marketmakers' Conference. Partner, Judith Taylor, along with Directors Ada LingJun Peng and Garrett Rapsilber, participated and facilitated discussions on leveraging the $1.1 trillion in US infrastructure funding to optimize economic recovery, produce affordable housing, catalyze transformative climate investments, and accelerate clean energy growth.
Judith Taylor’s panel highlighted how Southern California is training to meet the increased workforce pipeline demand from investments anticipated from the Inflation Reduction Act and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Panelists delved into innovative new workforce training programs and how existing union training opportunities supported high quality and well-paying jobs. Ada Peng shared innovative approaches to cut costs in affordable housing production and preservation through collaboration with various sectors.
We're excited to harness these insights and innovative strategies to integrate infrastructure funding into sustainable projects, drive climate action forward, and shape a resilient, clean energy future.
Thank you to VerdeXchange for hosting such an impactful event, and to all the co-panelists: Rod Hamilton, Mark Pisano, Steve Glenn, Kevin Harbison, Denis Obiang, Jade A. Clemons, Joe Sullivan.

⏰ Time to sign up for our RedCAT Network!
This is our final network before a summer break, so sign up and get your voice heard
As always, the RedCAT Network exists to bring together low carbon innovators, investors, manufacturers and installers to collaborate and problem solve for a sustainable future.
This time we are focused on skills shortages for climatetech innovators and installers.
What can we do with the collective power of the RedCAT Network to contribute to green skills in the future?
Come and find out on the 12th of June!
P.S Can you guess what Stuart was writing on the board?

👏 Join ClearBlue team members Wilson Cabanzo Rojas and Juan Manuel Cardona Granda at the IETA Latin America Climate Summit (LACS 2024) and hear from our Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder, Nicolas Girod, speaking June 27 at 11:30, on the Technology Platforms and Digital Monitoring-Reporting-Verification (MRV) panel.
Session description:
Carbon markets face different daily challenges and situations, including the collection and certainty of project data, completeness and transparency of information, efficiency in operations and transactions, calculation of emission factors and baselines, and application of equations. This session will allow us to learn how technology solves these challenges for greater carbon market integrity, efficiency, and scalability from the perspective of digital MRV, new technologies, and registration and commercialization platforms.

M.R.V.
- Those are probably the most discussed three letters in the industry at the moment, with the occasional addition of an extra M.
They stand for monitoring, measuring reporting and verification, the essential practice that aims to ensure the activity is achieving what it sets out to, is able to know how much of it was done, and cannot count the same item twice.
On the urgent journey to defining industry-wide standards, it is the cornerstone that shapes high-quality carbon removal solutions.
MRV increases accountability, transparency and, ultimately, trust in the industry.
It is an essential tool in providing assurance and support scalability to the buying side of the market.
Listen to Anu Khan, Deputy Director of Science and Innovation, Carbon180; Natalia Dorfman, CEO, Kita; and Ted Christie-Miller, Head of Carbon Removal, BeZero Carbon discussing "Why MRV matters in more than one way" during Climeworks' Direct Air Capture Summit 2023, moderated by Claire Nelson, Columbia University and Cella: https://lnkd.in/eVbJvm5A#DACSummit23#innovation#technology
