Reminder! Beginning today, all Community Plan, Map, and Ordinance (CPO) submissions along with Sewage Facilities Planning Modules (SMOD) and plans submitted for expedited reviews via the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) process must be received via our electronic submission portal. The e-submission portal is located here: If you need guidance while registering as a first-time user or completing your first submission, please refer to the “Help” functions provided throughout the expanded platform’s CPO, SMOD, and MOU applications. If you submit a question through the portal, it will be forwarded to LCPD’s Applications Coordinator. Alternatively, municipal leaders may contact their respective LCPD Regional Liaisons for assistance, or they may reference this video made for LCPD staff training. It specifically pertains to the new Subdivision and/or Land Development Plan submission process launched last October, but it remains generally applicable to other submission types as well. Check out our article on Andrea Travnicek furthering North Dakota's development through the department of water resources' cost-share program from our January issue. North Dakota’s Department of Water Resources (DWR) was formally created in 2021 through the merger of existing agencies, but its constituent programs have been in place, supporting the state’s water projects, for decades. In this informative interview with DWR Director Andrea Travnicek, we dig into the Cost-Share Program, which has existed in its current form since 1990. It is the primary source of water project funding in the state and can cover 60 percent of the cost of municipal water supply projects and 75 percent of the cost of rural or regional water supply projects. https://bit.ly/3DFUPC2 #MunicipalWater #MunicipalWaterLeader #NorthDakotaWater #WaterResources
