Hear from our Executive Director Vito J. Borrello about engaging families in education. “It’s not primarily about a newsletter, it’s not primarily about ice cream socials or even parent-teacher conferences, but the act of developing relational trust with families in ways that can support a partnership to the benefit the child.” Check out the Education Week story on 5 Ways to Get Parents More Involved in Schools. #FamilyEngagement https://lnkd.in/e3Y-dEdy

Building a positive relationship with your child’s teachers is crucial for their academic success and well-being. Start by attending parent-teacher conferences and introducing yourself early in the school year. Regularly communicate through emails or notes, showing your interest and support for your child's progress. Volunteer for classroom activities or school events when possible, as this demonstrates your commitment and helps you understand the classroom environment. Always approach discussions with a collaborative mindset, focusing on solutions and mutual goals. Celebrate your child’s successes together and work as a team to address any challenges. A strong parent-teacher partnership fosters a supportive learning environment for your child. At Hall Pass Learning Solutions (HPLS), we believe in nurturing such connections to enhance educational experiences. #ParentalSupport #ParentTeacherRelationship #EducationalSuccess #ChildDevelopment #PositiveParenting #TeacherAppreciation #SchoolCommunity #AcademicGrowth #CollaborativeLearning #ParentInvolvement #SchoolSupport #StudentSuccess #EducationMatters #LearningTogether #TeamworkInEducation #BuildingBridges #ParentTeacherCommunication #ClassroomSupport #FamilyEngagement #EducationPartners #ChildFirst #SupportiveLearning #BackToSchool #ParentTeacherGoals #EducationSupport #LearningJourney #FamilySchoolPartnership #StrongerTogether #EducationForAll #HPLS #HallPassLearningSolutions

Something needs to be done about our education system. To whome ever this may concern... Tell me if you as a parent agree or disagree!!! The expectations placed on nursery children to meet standards of perfection are unrealistic and detrimental to their development. Such pressures can stifle creativity, discourage exploration, and create unnecessary stress for both the child and the parent. Instead, early childhood education should focus on fostering a love for learning, nurturing individual strengths, and providing a supportive environment for growth and development. It's essential for educators and policymakers to recognize the unique needs of young children and prioritize holistic development over rigid academic benchmarks. #education #educationsystem #schooleducation #schoolleadership #kidsmentalhealth #kidsfirst #indianeducationsystem #learninganddevelopment
