Kinnow Prices Skyrocket Amid Yield Drop Kinnow prices are set to double, potentially reaching ₹100/kg by February 2025, due to a nearly 50% reduction in yield. Key factors include unfavorable weather and canal closures, impacting major kinnow-growing regions like Fazilka, Muktsar, and Hoshiarpur. Wholesale rates have risen sharply, with quality kinnow now at ₹25/kg compared to ₹12-15 last year. While orchardists struggle with soaring input costs, experts suggest the higher market rates could provide some relief. #KinnowPrices #AgricultureCrisis #KinnowYield #FarmersChallenges #RisingFoodPrices #Horticulture #ClimateImpact #PunjabAgriculture #FruitMarkets

Seven years ago, we embarked on a journey driven by the alarming levels of adulteration in staple food products like spices, dry fruits rice, and pulses. At Khetika we recognized this issue, and are committed to delivering pure, high-quality food from farm to consumers plate. Khetika focuses on health and purity while ensuring taste with single origin direct from source products. Through our platform, SuperZop, we source Spices, Pulses, Rice, and Grains directly from over 20,000 farmers and supply them to Kirana stores across Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. Khetika is also available on leading e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Big Basket, and D-Mart Ready, as well as quick-commerce platforms like Zepto and Blinkit. Empowering Farmers: We operate Farmer Knowledge Centers across the country, where we educate farmers on sustainable farming practices, the dangers of pesticides, and advanced crop cultivation techniques. From sowing to harvesting, we train them to cultivate crops suited to specific ecosystems. Post-harvest, we employ our patented *Super Grain Recognition Technology (SuperGRT)* to ensure unparalleled quality checks for all our products. Commitment to Purity: Adulteration is a widespread challenge, occurring at multiple levels—from farmers to manufacturers and packers. To combat this, we maintain strict quality control throughout our supply chain. For our range of batters, including millet-based options, we use *cold stone grinding* techniques to preserve natural flavors and nutrients. We strictly avoid preservatives, relying instead on natural fermentation and hygienic packaging to ensure product authenticity and shelf life. Innovation Khetika always focus on innovation to solve adultertaion issues and to provide healthy products like Sprouted moong chilla, millet batters, Stone ground spice powders etc. Expansion & Vision: To meet growing demand, we recently inaugurated a manufacturing plant in Delhi to better serve the northern region. In the coming year, we plan to expand to 15 cities, staying committed to our ultimate vision of providing 0% adulteration and 0% preservatives in every product we deliver. #Khetika #Retail #Qcommerce #Ecommerce #Tech #FarmersEducation #CropCultivation Prithwi Singh Raghuveer Allada Darshan Krishnamurthy CNBC CNBC-TV18
