We're excited to share that we’ve completed the process to fully take over bp Bunge Bioenergia, a top #Biofuels company in Brazil.   🚗 ✈️ Unique to our other offers, the business transforms sugarcane into ethanol, providing transportation fuel, sugar and electricity produced from leftover biomass.     We were the first international #Energy company to invest in the biofuels sector in 2008 – and we’ve been involved ever since.🌾     Brazil is one of the most prominent biofuels-producing countries, and this acquisition is in line with our integrated energy company strategy.      💧 Fun fact: the business currently has capacity to produce around 1.7 billion litres of ethanol annually!      Hear 5 more reasons why this is a great addition to our #Bioenergy portfolio – including the versatility of sugarcane, local employment opportunities and potential for future value, to name a few – on.bp.com/3XQIj8S --- While today we’re mostly in oil and gas, we increased the proportion of our global annual investment that went into our lower carbon and other transition businesses from around 3% in 2019 to around 23% in 2023.

Tenho orgulho de fazer parte desse time! bpbioenergy

Here's a Fun Fact for you: bp has revealed itself in its true colours to pensioners, to parliament, to social media. Employees too, if they can read between the lines of bp promotional spin. The bp Pensions Campaign Group continues its fight for justice. Find out more and join us here: bppensionergroup.org #BPPensions #ageism

Yes but bp has chosen to renege on cost of living rises for UK pensioners. 'Morally bankrupt'.

Oh no, another self congratulating post from bp, ignoring the decline in shareholder and moral values. The bp pensions scandal has exposed a serious lack of integrity and care from current bp leaders, and a failure to apply the code of conduct correctly. Reneged promises, misinformation to cover up, silent bullying of vulnerable stakeholders, knowingly increasing mental health harm on former employees. These are all in play at present and why it is imperative that the bp pensions scandal is both brought to everybody’s attention and resolved in a way that does not allow corporate bullying to harm people. #bp #BPpensions #CodeofConduct #NotMyBp

bp it's interesting to see that you are still milking Brazil after all these years. I can only imagine how many facilitation payments you HAVEN'T made due to your superior ethics. So, since you haven't made any facilitation payments in Brazil, might you consider making some real facilitation payments to your UK Pensioners? You know, the folks who made the company what it is. The folks you've been screwing over the past couple years. Oh, the scandals .....

Is BP guaranteeing no tropical rainforest has been cut/burnt down for the agri feeding this biofuel industry ?
