🛳️ Let's deep dive into the North American maritime sector! With a growing environmental focus the last couple of years, both governmental and international organizations are rolling out initiatives to reduce emissions and drive innovation in the maritime sector in North America. We have highlighted some important developments making waves in the industry in the slide deck below. But, what is Denmark’s role in all of this? Well, with one of the world’s largest maritime industries by production value for export, Denmark is a global leader in maritime technology and innovation. Danish designed equipment can be found on nearly all ocean-going vessels worldwide, demonstrating the extensive reach and influence of Danish engineering. Moreover, the green transition and increased digitalization present significant growth opportunities for Danish companies in the maritime sector. With expertise in areas like alternative fuels, carbon capture, and energy-efficient port solutions, Danish companies are well-positioned to contribute to the ongoing transition in North America’s maritime industry. Through our Green Maritime and Port Alliance, a collaboration with North American industry organizations and ports, we are actively strengthening the bridge between Danish and North American companies in green maritime initiatives. 💡 If you want to learn more about opportunities for Danish companies in US and Canada’s maritime sectors, feel free to reach out to our advisors Anders Kure Vidkjær and Emil Andersen. #maritime #greenshipping #DenmarkinUSA #DenmarkinCanada #WorkingforDenmark
