Jack Hooper is an incredibly thoughtful and inspiring founder and this conversation with him reinforced how lucky I feel to support founders build great teams every day. One nugget from Jack is that he asks every employee during their first week at Take Command what they want to be doing when they leave the company. I love how this one questions showcases 3 great traits of leadership: 1. Humility. Take Command is a stop along their journey but may not be the final destination. 2. Curiosity. Learning about your employees goals and dreams gives you better insight on how to best serve them. 3. Care. By giving each employee a chance to share personally, it shows true care and creates a sense of belonging. Thank you, Jack!!
