Starting half the battle is sales! My focus is helping sculpt the new wave of merchant service reps just getting their foot through the door. I believe starting is half the battle and sadly, I’ve seen some great talent slip through the cracks because fear took over. My best rep’s have one thing in common, they never quit. Everything is achievable, you just need to start and trust the process 🧘🏻♂️ #itssales #merchantservices #paymentspace

A common mistake with us folks in sales is working “long hard hours” ➕ the rule of “diminishing return.” Robert Ringer discusses this in his 1973 The New York Times bestseller, Winning Through Intimidation. If your in a sales role and not seeing the success you want, you might actually be working too hard. Understand what success will take you, But let the hours that you put into it NOT be the main factor. Remember that the convenience store owner down the block is putting in 14 long hour days. With all the respect that they deserve for working an honest living, where’s the long hard hours getting them? #sales #coldcalling #salesdevelopment #saleshumor #creditcardprocessing #integrations #paymentgateway ___________________________________ I’m Shalom Markman of Cardknox, a Fidelity Payment Services merchant processor 💳💰. Something you may have not known about me. I dropped out of sales for 3 years. Obviously I’ve been back at for a while. The last hour ⏳ of my day is now dedicated to helping folks with sales. If your thinking 💭 about dropping out if that sales role, Let’s find a time ⏱️ to chat. I’ve been there done ✅ that. P.S. Its not scotch 🥃. My good buddy (you know who you are) stopped by my office today and poured me a Cambutcha Tea 🫖. Not my taste at all. #sales #coldcalling #salesdevelopment #saleshumor #creditcardprocessing #integrations #paymentgateway ___________________________________ I’m Shalom Markman of Cardknox a Fidelity Payment Services merchant processor 💳💰. NIA Franchise owner | Founder of MCA² | B2B Sales and Marketing Growth 🚀📈 Consultant | Trainer & Keynote Speaker | 2x Author | Leveraging AI 🤖
Why don't buyers want to talk to salespeople? Because they know sales KPIs, compensation, and goals have nothing to do with their success. Instead, they are all about putting money in their pockets, hitting short-term goals, and keeping their jobs. 💸📈 Most buyers know this! 🤔 Traditional B2B KPIs, compensation, and the pressure to meet short-term and sometimes impossible goals can cause even the best person to do what's not right for the customer or engage in unethical behavior. 🚨 Think I'm wrong? That's exactly what went wrong at Wells Fargo Bank. They turned every employee into a salesperson with pressure to meet sometimes impossible goals, which resulted in 3.5 million fraudulent accounts. 🏦❌ Thousands of Wells Fargo's customers had their credit damaged, couldn't buy cars, got cars repossessed, and weren't able to buy homes. Yes, numerous court cases showed people even lost their homes due to these fraudulent practices. 🏡💔 The CEO admitted it was mostly caused by the high-pressure sales tactics they forced their employees to follow. Their dirty little secret that no one talks about is that what Wells Fargo did is standard practice at many companies today. 🤫🏢 It's not rocket science, folks! 🚀 We need to change from the status quo. 🔄 Are there any brave leaders out there who want a huge competitive advantage? I haven't met any yet, but I'm still looking. I'll give you the solution. 🕵️♂️ The solution lies in "team helping", not selling. To achieve this, as I talk about in my latest book, "BROKEN - How To Fix B2B Sales, Drive Profitable Growth & Win", (buy a copy here: https://rb.gy/gf73t) consider transforming marketing, sales, and customer success KPIs, compensation, and goals into buyer-centric metrics. All are focusing on exactly the customers you can truly help. After onboarding, ask customer success team members: "Was this a good fit for our company?" Continuously engage with customers, seeking ways to enhance their experience. Track retention rates. 📋 By aligning marketing, sales, and customer success, and all your GTM teams, around these buyer-centric goals, you'll witness remarkable results: higher retention and expansion rates, translating to increased revenue for the company. 💡📈 Everyone understands they're part of a cohesive team dedicated to helping customers thrive. 🤝 No more bringing in ill-fitting customers just to meet arbitrary quarterly goals! 🚫 And yes, the cost of acquiring the wrong type of customer is substantial. And more individuals succeeding helps improve retention rates of team members too, your internal customers! All hugely help the company's bottom line! Let's brag about this transformation on social media: "No commission or revenue breath here! Your success, not just dollars, drives our team. We prioritize you over everything else. Come have a chat and feel the game-changing difference!" 💪📈💥🚀 #customercentric #customercentricgrowth #customercentricgtm #customercentricity

Digital Marketing Agency Owner | Marketing Strategist | My strength? I combine design and strategy to build a strong online presence that grabs attention and connects with your audience.
Hey everyone, it's Priya Anand from Boston Graphic Design Studio, Llc! I'm excited to introduce you to Frankie G., and our paths crossed earlier this year through Corridor 9/495 Regional Chamber of Commerce. From the moment we connected, it was clear that Frankie brings a special energy and expertise to the table. Frankie recently moved from sunny California to Worcester and is now part of the team at the Shrewsbury branch location Webster Five. His energy, professionalism, and friendly nature truly set him apart in the banking world, and he genuinely cares about his clients and the community. Sharing the conversation I had with Frankie: ❓Frankie, could you share what drives your passion for excellence in banking and team management? ✅ My passion for excellence in banking and team management is rooted in helping less fortunate communities access financial education. Growing up as a first-generation millennial with immigrant parents, I witnessed their struggles navigating the US banking system, motivating me to impact others' livelihoods with integrity and ethical standards. ❓ What's one key strategy you've used at Webster Five to transform your team and achieve high performance? ✅ I implemented consistent bi-weekly sales focused sprints with my team at Webster Five. We used an MVP (minimal viable product/process) approach to test our strategies and see how our customers would respond. This allowed us to pivot and adjust our sales tactics based on the outcomes. This practice empowers the team to try new sales strategies resulting in creativity and stellar results. ❓ Can you describe a memorable moment where your coaching made a significant impact on someone's career? ✅ Certainly, back when I was a branch manager in San Diego, I coached an assistant branch manager with a negative outlook. Through guidance and collaboration, they transformed into a superstar banker, excelling in various areas. ❓ What guidance do you offer to those aiming to lead in the financial services sector? ✅ ALWAYS put your clients in the center of everything that you do. You should focus on them and their needs. If you're recommending something, it should be because they actually need it, not just to make a profit. Being trustworthy and open builds a strong bond with your clients, making you a real leader in your community. ❓Frankie, how can people reach out to you for advice ? ✅ Anyone can get a hold of me by reaching out here on LinkedIn, or through my email: fgonzalez-rauschkolb@web5.com or My direct line: 508-719-2110. I am fluent in Spanish and can help all small business owners who are looking for an honest and transparent business banking relationship. I can help with credit, savings and cash management needs for all small business. If you are someone who is looking for a new banking relationship, based on my experiences, you will be in good hands! #banking #communitybanking #SpiritofShrewsbury #bostongraphicdesignstudio
