No one thinks of the Audio / Visual of an event until something goes wrong. I've personally felt the pain of hearing the screeching feedback or the awkward silence when the video feed doesn't work. It kills the experience. That's why you need great execution and someone you can trust. Shane Fine is a master. He started Phase 3 AV out of high school and has been running the AV and renting equipment for big concerts, experiential events and even small venues for 20+ years. He's a stickler for quality. It's the exact personality trait you want. He's more comfortable behind the scenes running the show than he is at sales or being the face of his company, which is why he relies on us at Crew Marketing Partners to help him promote and create leads. It's a great partnership. If you need an AV company you can trust. Reach out to Shane and Phase 3 AV. You'll be blown away.

Organising an event is easy - isn't it? Surely I can cut costs by reducing the creative and production? I tend to disagree with both of the above questions. A strong creative concept supported by a hands-on Creative Director is the backbone of any successful event. It provides a clear thread and when executed well, a creative concept can deliver a remarkable and immersive experience that resonates with attendees. The recent Bridgerton-themed ball flop in Detroit serves as a stark reminder of the consequences when creative concepts are overlooked in event planning. Despite promising a glamorous evening reminiscent of the hit Netflix series, the event was plagued by issues ranging from poor decor and undercooked food to a lack of entertainment. The result was a disappointed crowd and a viral backlash. May this be another reminder to those trying to cut costs on Creative concepts. https://lnkd.in/eB9jzHzd #eventplanning #creativeconcepts #eventfail

When it comes to corporate events, the question isn't how much entertainment is enough, but rather how can entertainment amplify your brand's message. 🎭✨ A grand launch is a statement of ambition and vision. It's an opportunity to be bold, to stand out, and to communicate your brand's ethos with every act, from fire jugglers to gospel singers. Each performer is not just an entertainer; they are ambassadors of your brand's narrative. For private events, the key is personalisation. The beauty of independent entertainers is their ability to tailor their performances to the client's unique story. Like the versatile stilt-walkers who transform into Samba dancers, they adapt to create an immersive experience that resonates on a personal level. So, whether it's a corporate launch or a private affair, the real question is: What story do you want to tell, and how will you use entertainment to bring it to life? Let's create unforgettable moments that leave a lasting impression. #EventPlanning #BrandLaunch #EntertainmentIndustry #CorporateEvents #PrivateEvents #EventPersonalisation

The Fear of Technical Failures During Performances—and How to Keep the Show Going When it comes to live entertainment, nothing strikes fear into an event professional’s heart more than a technical failure during a performance. A mic cutting out mid-song, a spotlight malfunction, or an instrument not connecting properly can completely disrupt the energy and experience. Imagine the performer hitting their peak note, and the sound drops out. The audience feels it, the performer feels it—it’s an event planner’s worst nightmare. No matter how well-rehearsed the talent is, technology can steal the show if not handled properly. The Solution: Success starts with thorough tech rehearsals. Make sure all equipment—microphones, speakers, instruments, and lights—are tested multiple times before the event. Collaborating with a trusted AV team is essential. Having backup microphones, additional sound mixers, and extra lighting technicians on standby can save the day if things go wrong. At The Idea Hunter, we recently had a corporate event where multiple live bands and performers were part of the entertainment lineup. Knowing how critical the performances were to the event’s success, we made sure that both the AV crew and performers worked together in advance, running multiple sound checks. With backup mics and extra lighting rigs ready to go, we avoided any disruptions, and the night went off without a hitch. Don’t let tech fears steal the show! Our Huntresses are ready to create flawless entertainment experiences that leave guests mesmerized—without worrying about technical failures. Are you ready to start ideating? Corporate Event Host, trade show specialist and Magician @ Stephen Simmons | Award-Winning Entertainment
💖I have been performing for a really long time! One thing that stands out about events is personalization. This is what makes it really memorable. If I am booked as the magical host for the evening, I ensure that the company's brand and ethos are intertwined into my performances and scripts for maximum impact. 🪄 The reason is simple: when the entertainment speaks directly to the heart of the company and its people, it creates a deeper connection. It turns an ordinary event into a unique experience that reflects the company's identity and celebrates its culture. Personalized magic not only entertains but also reinforces the message and values of the company, leaving a lasting impression that goes beyond the event itself. Incorporating these elements takes an event from being just another date on the calendar to a memorable celebration of what makes your company unique. That's the power of personalization in event hosting - it's not just about the show, it's about creating an experience that's uniquely yours. 💪 #eventsindustry #magician #hosting
