Job Title: Executive Director Position Type: Full-Time Job Objective: The Executive Director (ED) will drive the execution of the organization’s strategies, serving as a key liaison between the MD, staff, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders. The ED will ensure the achievement of the company’s goals, provide strategic direction, and support sound business decisions, reporting directly to the MD/CEO. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and execution of the company’s strategy alongside the CEO and Board. Achieve the company’s annual budget and ensure compliance with the Board’s parameters. Foster a culture of integrity, ethical standards, and performance-driven results. Maintain strict compliance with company credit policies and manage NPL to below 4%. Organize and staff the company effectively, with authority to hire/terminate in consultation with the MD. Ensure expenditures are within the authorized budget and maintain high standards of corporate governance. Assess and manage company risks, ensuring effective internal controls and information systems. Communicate with shareholders, employees, authorities, and the public, acting as the company’s public face. Keep the MD informed and ensure the Board receives sufficient information for decision-making. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory policies, leading by example in upholding company standards. Qualifications: Minimum of a first degree in any discipline; MBA is an advantage. At least 15 years of relevant experience, including 10 years in the financial sector and 5 years in senior management. Skills & Attributes: Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills. High integrity, ethical standards, and corporate poise. In-depth knowledge of corporate governance, operations management, and financial markets. Analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and decision-making skills. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changes in technology and regulations.
