If your child is having tantrums, trouble getting along with their good friends, stomachaches/fatigue, or a fear of sleeping alone, they may be feeling anxiety about the new school year. You can help ease that anxiety by talking with them about their worries and coming up with solutions together. Some ideas include setting up play dates with other kids in their class or doing a walk-through of their routes to their classroom and pickup/drop-off areas.
