Community means taking care of others, and being a contributing member of the ‘village’. We take pride in managing our relationships with a long-term mindset and putting forward honest, quality workmanship in every step of our process to do so. Why do you feel it is important to support charitable causes, like Associa Cares? As a thriving business in the local market, contributing to charitable causes is our obligation. To take care of those who are in need of help, and be an upstanding partner who actively endeavors to help others in all that we do. Capital campaigns and painting projects have alot in common. Growing up, I would help my dad on alot of large-scale exterior house painting projects (house painting is actually how I saved money to buy a ring to propose to my wife!). My dad would always say, "over half the work in painting is the prep". This past weekend, I painted the climbing wall I've been building for my kids in our garage. And, true to my dad's proverbial wisdom, most of the work of the painting project was taping, masking, tarping, and assembling my tools. Once that was all done, the actual painting work was quick, easy, and resulted in beautiful coats and clean lines. The clean-up was easy and no mess was left behind. Prep and planning may not represent over 1/2 of the work of capital campaigns (more like 10-20%), but it's definitely how you get "beautiful coats" (fundraising goals acheived on time) and "clean lines" (effective messaging, clear processes, the right prospects and volunteers, etc.).
