Today we have a powerful New moon in Scorpio in Jyeshtha nakshatra at 26°. We had a lunar eclipse at 25° in Aug 2022. Whatever cycle was activated at that time will be completed and closed now. This New moon is happening on the 12/12 portal so expect major endings and new beginnings soon.  Mars is very close to the new moon at 19° in Jyeshtha and Uranus is also at 26° Aries. Scorpio is a fixed water Signs so any fixed deep rooted fears, beliefs, thoughts and conditioning will come up for review, healing and purging. The last 1 month since the new moon in Libra may have brought up a lot of hidden fears, hurt, pain and trauma to the surface for healing. Many truths which were hidden may have also been revealed whether inside you or around you. A lot of purging and releasing has been happening.  Mars in the mix is adding more intensity and passion to the mix pushing you to take action as you can no longer avoid your fears and you need to face them and deal with them. Jyeshtha is ruled by Mercury which is in Sagittarius and it is stationary today and going retrograde tomorrow adding Jupiter's wisdom and bigger picture perspective. In the next few days you will be forced to go back through your past and clean the mess you have created. Uranus may bring sudden changes and upheaval helping you by destroying the old structures and beliefs you hold. Jupiter and Saturn aspecting this new moon will bring the necessary wisdom, discipline, clarity and strength to make the necessary changes in your life. Wherever there is a wrong or injustice in your life whether done by you or to you, needs to be corrected.  So take action with passion and wisdom and use your strength and courage to do what is right in your life, family and society.  Wherever Scorpio or Taurus is in your chart or if you have any planets at 26° you will see profound change there. What's a conjunction? This is a beautiful example in which tonight's First Quarter Moon is conjunct Jupiter. When the photo was taken, a few minutes ago, the Moon was at 5° of Taurus, and Jupiter at 6° of Taurus. Although there is some distance between them on the photo, they are at 1° of orb, as astrologers say. New Moon in Taurus May 7, 2024 On May 7, 2024 we reach our first New Moon since the Total Solar Eclipse back on April 8th. This New Moon takes place at 18°02’ Taurus, not far from the recent Jupiter-Uranus conjunction back on April 20th. This New Moon is about slowing down energetically and taking in the nourishment around us in health and balance with the Earth. At this post-eclipse period of time, we are beginning to feel a slowing down in general as some of the planets themselves slow down in the sky with Pluto leading the way after going retrograde on the 2nd of May. More will follow in June, July and August. Taurus is a sign that invites us to take in the pleasures and comforts of the world. It shows us the nature of sensuality in the physical realm. Taurus helps us appreciate the garden that Earth has to offer. This is in knowing that it needs protection as much as it evolves on its own, whether to create the beauty and sensuality ourselves or to dive into what is already there.
