What's the key to losing the gender gap in corporate leadership? I believe it's mentorship - specifically women mentoring women. 🔐🔑 However, many women want a mentor but don't know how to find one. In my opinion, the best way to find the best fit for you is to first ask yourself these three questions: -Who do I admire? -Who has a professional style that I want to emulate? -What skill do I want to develop? Once you answer these questions, it can be as simple as asking the person directly. In this new year, I encourage you all to seek out a professional mentor. I promise you won't regret all the valuable lessons and skills you learn! #FemaleLeaders #Mentorship #WomenSupportingWomen

At T Time Foundation, we believe that mentorship is one of the most powerful tools for transformation. For women survivors, mentorship offers more than just guidance—it provides a lifeline to hope, empowerment, and a future filled with possibilities. Through our coaching and mentorship programs, we help women overcome past adversities and build the confidence to step into leadership roles. Mentorship is about more than sharing knowledge; it’s about fostering a supportive community where women can grow, thrive, and redefine their lives on their terms. We’ve seen firsthand how mentorship can open doors, provide direction, and inspire the resilience needed to move forward. This is why we’re committed to offering these opportunities to the women we serve, helping them get ahead in life and become impactful leaders in their own right. Together, we can continue to make a difference. If you're passionate about supporting women on their journey to empowerment, consider joining us at the Timeless Gala on October 18. #Tuesdaythoughts Reflecting on the impact of mentorship in our professional journeys. Recently, I had a conversation with my boss reminiscing about our first mentors, both inspiring women who saw leadership qualities in us that we hadn't recognized in ourselves. Have you experienced the power of formal mentorship? I'm eager to hear your stories on how mentorship has influenced your development, education, and professional growth. For those currently mentoring, what inspired you to start? And for those who haven't begun mentoring yet, what's holding you back? Let's share our experiences and insights on the transformative impact of mentorship. #mentorshipmatter #becomeamentor #bigbrothersbigsisternyc #bbbsnyc #newyorkcity #nycprofessionals

The African Society for Social & Behavior Change Summit provided invaluable insights from our youth yesterday, highlighting three key takeaways: 1. Empowerment through Self-Determination: We must enable young people to identify their own problems, design their own solutions, and effectively utilize available resources. This approach fosters meaningful engagement and sustainable impact. #MeaningfulEngagement #YouthEmpowerment 2. Embrace Being MAD: It’s a badge of honor to be called MAD – it signifies that you are Making A Difference. Let’s celebrate those who challenge the status quo and drive positive change. #MAD #MakingADifference 3. Youth Leadership: Let the youth lead the change and own the change. Empowering young leaders ensures that the solutions are relevant and that the youth are committed to driving and sustaining progress. #YouthLeadership #ChangeMakers Join the conversation and support our youth in shaping a better future! #ASBSC #YouthLeadership #Innovation #SocialChange #Empowerment
