Loved how this brand put out a ramen pot right outside the restaurant to attract customers! I wouldn't even look at the menu if I wouldn't have noticed this. Brand Recall? They've made a right move! Olfactory branding at its finest. 🍟 Olfactory branding involves using scents/smells to create memorable brand experiences and McDonald's Netherlands used the brand's most iconic smells to capture the attention of bystanders on the streets of the Netherlands - their freshly cooked fries. 🍟 McDonald's Nederland has created a series of scented ads placed near some of their locations, featuring nothing but the brand’s colors — not even the golden arches — that are packed with freshly cooked french fries with ventilators pushing out their signature smell to passersby.
