I wasted my first 5 years on TikTok and made £0. Now I make earn a living managing it for brands. Here's what I was doing wrong: 1. I didn't focus on a specific niche or theme to attract a dedicated audience 2. I ignored the importance of engaging with my followers and other creators 3. I didn't utilise trending sounds and specific hashtags to increase visibility 4. I was inconsistent with my posting schedule. 5. I missed out on opportunities to reach wider audiences with Duet's etc 6. I didn't adapt my content strategy based on analytics and feedback 7.
