The author of this article makes a valid point: "Social media, by definition, is “social”, which involves humans interacting with other humans, sharing their own experiences, and the things that are filtering through their real human brains, in order to then feel more connected to the world around them." How does AI figure into this? Are we, or are we not, removing the human element of social media by using AI to generate content? Is there a point where we can say that the content is still human-generated as AI was used to simply tweak it, so thus, we retain the human element of the content? IMHO, when social media content is automatically generated by AI with minimal to no human input, then one could possibly argue that the very concept of social media content should be reevaluated.
