Return to office, hybrid or fully remote continues to be a big debate this season. 👨💻 ➡️ But it doesn’t have to be that way! In my experience hiring in tech over the last few years, candidates and employees want to know the why behind the decision to return to office or hybrid. 🤝 ✅ The companies getting it right offer flexibility for employees with a customer-first mindset. It’s very reminiscent of HRpolicies on dress codes and the best articulation was “dress for your day”. 🤔 ❓ So let me ask, are you team Remote, Hybrid, or In Office? #remotework #rto #recruiterlife ______________ 👋 Hi, I’m Brandon, startup recruiter. 🌎 My mission is to empower the candidate<>employer relationship in the #futureofwork Hit the🔔 for more insights on tech recruiting, and a meme or two.

The question is too vague. Remote is my preference, but that's only for myself. No single answer is right for everyone. It depends on the person and the job. Remote, hybrid, and on-site all have a place in today's world.

Team flexibility! In-office, remote or hybrid, folks need to have the flexibility to choose what works best for them - and companies that care will enable ✨ all ✨ working types. To your point - I haven't created a dress code policy in over a decade. Mostly, because I'm fortunate enough to work with smart adults who don't need to be told how to dress. 🤞 that In Office and Hybrid policies go the way of dress code. Hopefully companies trust and support their employees to do their best work in the times (and places!!) that work best for them.

After these years of increasingly casual “business casual” exacerbated from us all working from home, it really can feel like this to put on a full outfit for a meeting 😬

Leaders need to stop treating employees like toddlers. Mature adults can make their own decisions about what to wear for each occasion and what type of environment works best per type of task. Totally agree with you Brandon Jeffs on giving a why. If they aren’t giving one, maybe it’s because they don’t have a good why
