I listened to Wendell Chambliss during the ASBA Internship Kickoff Event that paired 38 UAB students with 30 local minority small business owners. He encouraged the interns with the following: 1. Do your best and be your best. 2. Learn to say, “I don't know.” 3. If you say you're going to do something, do it. 4. Be your authentic self. 5. Be inclusive and respectful of others. 6. Leverage your differences for the benefit of all.
