I am grateful I got to know you Jacqueline Asiimwe. I am sure meeting you wasn't coincidental, it was meant to happen. That walk, oh yes! I’m looking forward to much more. I hope to meet with you again soon. To everyone reading this, a data-driven life begins just like that. What she did was simply collect, store, retrieve, reflect, and finally archive. This is the same approach your company or even you should adopt. The day-to-day activities and operations are data points. We need to gather them and utilize them to make daily decisions. Yes, we need to store them in a safe repository to ease retrieval. At the end of the quarter or year, we need to reflect, utilizing this data to assess what went right or wrong, as well as evaluate the KPIs (reflection). Like she did, just get a box to empty for the next one. What she went through was a great learning point. The motivation and satisfaction will keep her going—even for the next round. But we still need the previous data. We may reflect upon it in the future, or it can serve as a basis for comparison. So don’t throw it away, just archive it. This is a simple application that your team may need to master. To a data-driven 2025!

The Lifesaving Combat Veteran 501(c)(3) Heroes To Heroes Foundation! Heroes To Heroes Foundation (HTH) is a $1MM nondenominational combat veteran 501(c)3) that provides donors of any amount the ability to make a huge impact on our mission. As an overview, the mission is successfully saving vets who return home from the battlefield suffering moral injury, and live at serious risk of death by suicide. Our 12-month curriculum focuses on peer support, spiritual reawakening, and reconnection to faith. Moral injury, briefly, is a 'psychological, behavioral, social, and sometimes spiritual response to events that violate a person's values and beliefs'. Heroes To Heroes Foundation brings these American heroes from suicidal ideation to community reintegration! HTH is 4-Star Charity Navigator-rated, and the efficacy of our program has been validated by a long-term study conducted by Dr. Joseph Currier who is a national leader in the area of moral injury at the University of South Alabama. A key to our program results are 10-day Team journeys to Israel towards the middle of the year-long program, critical for the peer support, spirituality, reconnection to faith, and ultimately healing core of our mission. In Israel, the vets travel with 3 members of the IDF who are suffering in much the same way. We have recently welcomed Teams home from their Journey to Israel, the first since the atrocities of October 7th. These are links for more information. Video of program participants on the ground in Israel: https://lnkd.in/g3i-FbZN. HTH website: https://lnkd.in/gxypfH9C. You never know what challenge life will give you... On January 8, 2024, my boyfriend, Thomas W. Thermidor, was diagnosed with Stage 5 Kidney Failure and learned he would need a transplant in order to save his life. With his family unable to support him, and my family 500 miles away, we were fully alone and forced to navigate this challenge all by ourselves. Luckily, I am an innovator and solving problems is what I do. I immediately reduced all my other responsibilities and became his full-time caregiver and am responsible for every element of his care. From scheduling and attending 3+ appointments a week among 14 different providers, to constantly researching any and all elements of the healthcare system, and even creating and making recipes that fit his diet on a daily basis, I dedicated time every single day to ensure that he received the best care possible. While the caregiving aspect of this challenge can be time consuming and sometimes mentally draining, the much harder challenge to solve is finding a kidney donor. Waiting for a deceased donor can take over five years and takes many years off of his life in the long run, so our mission is finding a living donor. Asking someone for an organ is an impossible question that is not fair to ask of anyone. To combat this, we have developed other strategies inspire people to want to donate. I developed a website for Thomas to share his story and answer any questions potential donors may have. We have also created social media platforms dedicated to sharing Thomas's story. Additionally, I created a GoFundMe in which we were able to raise around $30,000 to cover all costs associated with the transplant and remove the financial barrier. Even with all of this, Thomas still does not have a donor. Yesterday, we were able to partner with Len Green, CPA, MBA in his Ultimate Entrepreneurial Challenge course to motivate the best and brightest entrepreneurs at Babson College to solve this problem. I want to thank Len and all of the students in this course for taking the initiative to solve this seemingly impossible challenge and seek to provide the person I love most the gift of life. https://lnkd.in/e6M5uqpc

I've been reflecting on some staggering numbers: MacKenzie Scott has donated $16.5 billion since 2019 to nearly 2,000 organizations. 💵 Upstream received $55 million 💵 School-Based Health Alliance got $9 million. 💵 Pride Foundation was gifted $3 million. In 2023 alone, America's largest donors gave over $11.9 billion*. And that's just the beginning. We're on the cusp of a historic $84 trillion wealth transfer. This transfer isn't just about money; it's about the potential for global influence, spiritual impact, and biblical stewardship on a scale we've never seen before. But here's the truth that's been weighing on my heart: As faith-driven leaders, we're often so focused on giving and serving that we forget a crucial truth - our capacity to give is directly linked to our ability to receive. Let that sink in for a moment. As Christians, it's our duty to step up as good stewards, using wealth to support the Kingdom. But are we truly prepared to receive these blessings? You might think you're ready - but are you really? The organizations selected by Mackenzie were not random. They were chosen because of their unwavering donor confidence. That's why I'm inviting you to my masterclass, ''How to Master The Art of Receiving to Position Your Organization for Millions LIVE." Together, we'll explore: ✔️ The Great Wealth Transfer: What it means for faith-based organizations and how to position yourself to benefit. ✔️ The Art of Receiving: Overcoming discomfort and learning to embrace receiving as a crucial part of your mission. ✔️ Crafting a Compelling Vision: How to articulate your God-given calling in a way that resonates with high-capacity Gen-X donors and investors. ✔️Building Lasting Relationships: Strategies for connecting authentically with supporters so they turn into lucrative long-term ambassadors. ✔️Practical Preparedness: Essential steps to ensure you're ready for transformative funding opportunities and the blessings they will bring. Don't let this unprecedented opportunity pass you by. It's time to expand our capacity to receive so we can amplify our impact for the Kingdom. DATE: October 17 TIME: 1 pm PST/4 pm EST Register now: https://lnkd.in/eg9GzP6J Let's step into the abundant future God has prepared for your mission. #FundingReadiness #WealthTransfer #KingdomImpact #Beaconship *Source: Philanthropy 50 report by The Chronicle of Philanthropy.
