MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH 💚 May is Mental Health Awareness month, a time to reflect on the mental health challenges faced by millions of Americans every day directly and indirectly. One in five Americans will experience a mental health condition in a given year. Based on these statistics, chances are that if you do not suffer from mental illness, you may know someone that does. Because of the stigma and misunderstanding surrounding mental health, many who are suffering fail to seek the help they need. To support the efforts being made to “Stop the Stigma”, we are taking on the Run Streak 2024 challenge created by Still I Run to raise awareness and elevate the conversation surrounding Mental Health. Still I Run is a community that rallies around mental health because one of the best ways to help combat anxiety and depression is through exercise. https://lnkd.in/gWMrZbKW The Opici Family #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #hospitalityindustry #wineindustry #liquorindustry #mentalhealthawarenessmonth

With May being Mental Health Awareness Month, it's important to remind everyone that if you're grappling with mental illness, you're not alone. Unfortunately, certain TV shows or movies about mental health can perpetuate a negative stigma or provide a distorted view of what mental health truly means. In reality, one in five children will experience some type of mental health issue, and it's crucial to challenge the stigma and misconceptions in order to ensure children receive the support they need. Together, we can dismantle the stigma surrounding mental illness and facilitate faster access to treatment! #MentalHealthAwareness #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #MentalHealth #HopeForTomorrow
