Surga is translated from Indonesian as "paradise", so one of the main objectives of the concept was to create the impression of a paradise by adding the maximum amount of greenery. The volume of the building consists of two blocks, offset relative to each other, connected by a transit space. The main entrance is located on the street side. Entering it, we enter the distribution hall. From here you can go to the kitchen-living room, guest bathroom and bedroom, as well as climb the stairs to the bedrooms located on the second floor. Each bedroom has an individual wardrobe and a bathroom. One of the bedrooms on the second floor has a terrace. On the second floor, roof overhangs and exterior walls are cantilevered towards the courtyard to protect from the sun, as well as to reduce the visibility of neighboring areas. The second floor of each block is allocated in a separate volume. The supporting structures of the first floor are hidden behind stained glass windows, which allows you to achieve the effect of floating the massive-looking second floor over the lighter glass first. An important role is played by panoramic glazing in the staircase area, the “floating” steps of which open the possibility of through viewing, so that you can see a beautiful view of the courtyard from the threshold.
