Teachers learn through
📍Academic study

📍Teachers
📍LIFE Lessons
Through artificial intelligence in business a common facet of learning has evolved more quickly than before: amalgamations.
Amalgamations are closely related to mergers and acquisitions, all of which involve combining or consolidating multiple businesses.
📍 However, there are subtle differences between the three.
1️⃣☝️With an acquisition, the purchasing company buys out over 50% of the acquired company’s shares, giving them control over both organizations.
📍Both companies can retain their business name and assets, but one controls the other.
2️⃣✌️By contrast, in a merger the purchasing company buys another company’s assets, along with its brand identity and shares.
📍The result is a single, merged company.
3️⃣🎪 In an amalgamation, both pre-existing companies merge into a single entity, forming a completely new company.
📍Neither of the old companies retain their former names and structure, instead consolidating assets to create something new.
In your postings as an author, how have you created amalgamations in each post through past life lessons to create a positive difference in the lives of people in the workplace?
📍🎪This Easter Sunday March 31, 2024 comments encouraged and reposts appreciated.

Joining the Transformative Journey in Global Health and Crisis Management
I am thrilled to share the culmination of an incredible journey in Global Health and Crisis Management, a path that has not only broadened my perspective but also deeply enriched my professional and personal growth. My advanced master-level studies (in progress) at the Laurea University of Applied Sciences have equipped me with comprehensive knowledge and competencies in infection prevention, crisis preparedness, and leadership within the global health context.
This program has masterfully intertwined healthcare with crisis leadership, emphasizing the critical importance of socially sustainable development, health, and infection prevention. A focus on managing communicable diseases and enhancing health security underpins our learning, preparing us to tackle these challenges on a global scale.
Our curriculum, grounded in evidence-based practices and global models, has honed our skills in leadership, research methodologies, and ethical awareness. It has also instilled in us the importance of communication within multidisciplinary teams, a skill crucial for effective management and development in this field.
A cornerstone of our studies has been the drive to address global needs, aligning with Global Health Ethics and the transformative goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. This alignment underscores our commitment to contributing meaningfully to global health challenges, especially in contexts affected by immigration and socioeconomic disparities.
As I reflect on this journey, I am inspired by the potential to apply these competencies across various settings, aiming to improve health outcomes, advance social sustainability, and navigate crises with adept leadership.
I am eager to connect and collaborate with peers, professionals, and organizations committed to making a significant impact in the global health and crisis management space. Let's discuss the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for us in this field. What are the most pressing issues you believe we should focus on?

One Health approach is crucial to tackling complex global public health threats at the interface of humans, animals, and the environment. As outlined in the One Health Joint Plan of Action, the international One Health community includes stakeholders from different sectors.
Supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, an academic community for One Health action has been proposed with the aim of promoting the understanding and real-world implementation of One Health approach and contribution towards the Sustainable Development Goals for a healthy planet.

Interested in learning more about incorporating knowledge management into public health emergencies?
Join us for an interactive online launch event of a new resource package for global health professionals: The Knowledge Management Road Map for Public Health Emergencies. During a public health emergency, it is essential that public health professionals have access to accurate, up-to-date information they can use to inform their work. However, given the quantity of information being shared during such an emergency this can often be challenging. In these settings, Knowledge Management (KM) tools and techniques can strengthen collaboration and knowledge exchange and ensure the latest evidence is put into practice. Developed by the Knowledge SUCCESS project with funding from USAID Global Health.
