At MetLife, we put the customer at the center of everything we do. We pride ourselves on thinking differently and driving innovative solutions in support of our customers and our employees. Our recent 2024 MetLife Global Hackathon is one example of our teams ideating, collaborating and innovating for impact. We had more than 3,600 participants, 350 teams, and this year we implemented community voting so our colleagues across the globe could get involved. I had an opportunity to serve as a judge in the Global Final where regional teams from the U.S., Asia, EMEA, and LatAm pitched their winning concepts. It was hard to pick just one. These teams were truly in it to win it! When all of the votes were tallied, our Asia Autobots team was named the global winner, and their concept will be prioritized for implementation. The team took the top spot for their idea to revolutionize end-to-end customer care with AI: Kaizen Claims. By implementing a 24/7 voice-based chatbot with real-time intelligence, the team’s solution is aimed at achieving faster response times and consistent service that improves efficiency and the customer experience. Way to go, Autobots! I’m so excited to work with Autobots to help bring their idea to life for our customers. They’ve shown that together we can ‘Hack to the Future’. #AllTogetherPossible
