3 weeks today on April 2nd, we will announce this year’s fundraising challenge. Our Walk for Autism yearly walks are about raising awareness and promoting acceptance of autism and raising funds for autism charity, AnnaKennedyOnline. Our top priority is to expand and innovate to serve more individuals and families in need. We've come far in 20 years, but the need for lifetime support is enormous. We must meet the demand for services that grow as our children grow up into adulthood. Living, leisure, learning, and earning are all critical areas we are poised and ready to address. As a grassroots, parent-led organization, we rely on community support to operate. Where will we be in 20 years without family and community involvement? Families rely on AutismUp programs and support, and we need everyone's help to ensure they remain available. Imagine the possibilities we can create with your involvement! This is where your support becomes crucial. We have a monumental challenge to raise $100,000 towards our KiteFlite Fundraising Challenge by August 11, 2024, in honor of our 20th anniversary. Why support SensationALL?!? Because... we are there to ease the strain on parents/carers pre-diagnosis when statutory support isn't available. Because... we are a lifeline for youngsters with Autism or ADHD who are isolated, unable to attend school full-time or make friends because they "don't fit in". Because... families come to us in crisis - desperately in need of practical help when the emotional and behavioural difficulties associated with complex needs become overwhelming. Because... parent/carers tell us how lost and alone they felt before they found us: 🗨"When I first found out about Sensationall I was feeling really low - not sure how to deal with [my daughter's] diagnosis but Sensationall is somewhere that didn’t make us feel she was a badly behaved child - I was relaxed being there without judgement from others."💬 🗨"I don’t know where we would be if I hadn’t found this charity, so many doors were shut in our faces and I will always be extremely thankful for SensationALL's support and guidance."💬 🗨"From our first visit we felt welcomed and supported which was a breath of fresh air knowing we weren’t alone because at that point I was really low, crying all the time."💬 Every week new families are approaching us for support but we are working at capacity.
