Digital printing is a game-changer for creating custom packaging. Here's a great example: In celebration of American Heart Month, Cheerios leveraged digital printing technology for their Happy Heart Shapes campaign and introduced personalized, special-edition cereal cartons to the market. The best part? Consumers also can order personalized yellow boxes from their website for $20. While this example is for folding carton boxes, this type of campaign can be executed equally well across any medium using digital print (corrugated and labels included). Digital printing is perfect for meeting such demands: high-quality packaging paired with variable content, fail-fast new product launches, and time-sensitive marketing campaigns that rely heavily on packaging graphics.
