"What really got my attention when sailing her was just how easily driven the hull is," added Condell. "Yes, you can go to town with performance sails, and I for one would love to see the Sun Odyssey 350 with a deck sweeper jib, and a fat head main (on cars). The power of the latter, especially off the breeze, would be demonstrable. I think it is fair to say one of the first owners may well carry out this exact transformation, especially if they want to upset the racing fraternity." Every minute represents 1 month of careful and passionate craft by our Production Team. They have poured their heart into this yacht and we are happy to share this little snippet of carbon fibre yacht building craftsmanship with you! In this video, you will see the fabrication of the wave cutter and of the hull skin until the infusion is completed (you can see the resin flowing through the starboard side of the hull toiwards the end of video). The thin film covering the boat in the last third of the video is to maintain constant temperature while resin cures. When discussing yacht videos with clients and viewers I often hear them say "I wish somebody would create videos where they can critique yachts, or compare them with each other but explaining the bad points as well as the good points. I WOULD LOVE THAT TOO! However, I decided early on that my channels should be yacht marketing platforms, and critiquing yachts is not a great strategy if you want to attract clients! So...I decided to create a series of videos that compare similar yachts. No opinion, no criticism, just objective data that allows the viewer to decide which is the more suitable for him/her (insert preferred gender pronoun 😁). The first video compares Ferretti Group's new Custom Line Navetta 38m with Azimut|Benetti Group's popular 37m Motopanfilo.
