My mother and she was originally from. Up the Bitterroot went school Darby. Then started working in Hamilton. Deciding that. I'd rather. Get into the automotive parts business. So I came to Missoula and got a job with Motor Supply company. During that time, my wife's parents had a service station wanted out of it by. My wife and I decided to well, maybe we should take it. So we did. During the time we were there, we took on. Uhaul Truck and Trailer Rentals. However, the oil company and I. Didn't exactly see eye to eye as far as the location and me having. U hauls One day my wife came out in the service area where I was working and said there's a gentleman here to see you, Vice said to me. This gentleman wants to know why we don't have travel trailers to rent. I think we ended up buying 6 trailers from him. That went on and. At that point, which was 1969 I guess went to the Prowler plant in Pendleton and. We. Took on prowers and we sold prowlers for I believe would have about almost 30 years, was it? We came over here and building another facility which we bought. Gave us quite a bit of space and more room than we'd had, and we thought we were living high we were able to keep going for. I think about 17 years. And at that point? My oldest son Mark. We have to have some more room, so. He started looking and found a location many of you may remember it was down on Mullan Rd. It was owned by the biggest RV dealer in the area at that point. So Mark went to him and to see if he would be interested in selling it. And yes he would. Mark bought it and my boys took over the business. Mark took it. Over first and then he, he and his brother decided to go together and. They've done off far greater job of it than I ever would have and I'm very proud of them, proud of the accomplishments they have made. If my grandkids haven't been interested, what would have happened to the whole? Picture I I must say that. With them stepping in, I think it's great. I just thank God. That my boys and my grandkids.
