How #Ironic..! Individuals on #LinkedIn who use the 'open to work' frame but indicate that they are not looking for opportunities are similar to #recruiters who post job openings without the intention of hiring for those positions. This makes it difficult for genuine #job #seekers and recruiters to bridge the gap. PS:- Copied content but relatable.

Behind the Scenes: Recruiter view of your LinkedIn profile!! With many in my network actively looking for employment right now, I want to share ways to help you stand out when applying for jobs. LinkedIn is such a powerful employment search tool, so hopefully some find this useful. 🔸 8 people are hired via LinkedIn every minute. 🔸 87% of recruiters find LinkedIn most effective for vetting candidates. 🔸 85% of jobs are filled via networking, using sites like LinkedIn! 🔸 79% of hiring managers have hired candidates from LinkedIn. 🔸 77% of employers use LinkedIn as part of their recruitment strategy. 🙋♀️ @careercontessa Full disclosure: I work best in the morning, so I review my LinkedIn candidates right around 8am EST. Not all Recruiters may choose that time, but I wanted to illustrate that timing could matter for when you apply for a position. #hiring #employment #letsgettowork #linkedincommunity #linkedincreator

🧐 Hey, LinkedIn - can we make a "Not interested at this time" button happen?! (But also hi 👋🏻, y'all are awesome!) 🚨 The issue: Job seekers have companies that they know aren't a fit for what they want. And while they can signal that they ARE interested in joining a company, they aren't able to do the opposite. It would be incredible to have the option to tag companies that aren't a match and have those filtered out from the recommended jobs pool. 🙌🏻 The wins: 1. Given the manual nature of having to 'opt in' to this feature, if a job seeker has gone through the trouble of marking "Not interested at this time" on a company page, then it's pretty clear they don't want to work there. Filtering these out would save their job feeds from being bogged down with irrelevant roles which makes the search more efficient. 2. Recruiters would be able to filter out these candidates during while sourcing for roles and therefore would't use valuable time reaching out to uninterested candidates. This would (in all likelihood) also result in better InMail response rates. 3. Companies would get lots of good data on job seeker sentiment towards their employer brand. Additional (optional) info could be collected here if job seekers could select their reasoning: company location, on-site/hybrid/remote requirements, culture/values, etc. There's lots that can be done with this information from an employer brand perspective! 4. LinkedIn would make mannnnny job seekers and recruiters really happy! 🙏🏻 What do ya say?! 😆 #linkedin #jobsearch #feedback #candidateexperience #userexperience #voiceofthecustomer #opentowork #painpoints #jobseekers #recruiters #recruitment
